Pembangunan Pertanian Melaka Sdn Bhd has 3 divisions the first division is at Lembah Kesang the second division is at Alor Gajah and the third division at Machap Umboo. So for the special issue and problems that i highlighted at the Pembangunan Pertanian Melaka Sdn Bhd is lack of skillful harvester and some main road really bad in maintenance and caused difficulties for transportation fresh fruit bunches from the field. As normal all the plantation has an internal problems or special issue.

The workers can’t different the ripe bunch, half-ripe bunch and unripe bunch. Harvest the unripe bunch will reduce the income to the company because the unripe bunches that have contain so much oil. Sometimes the worker not harvest the ripe bunch and this will result occur the over ripe bunch and empty bunch. Moreover some worker not cut the stalk so that the stalk can absorb the oil from the fresh fruit bunch. Lastly they are feel lazy to collect the loose fruit the basement of oil palm, this problem will result volunteer oil palm seedling (VOPS) will grow as unwanted plant at oil palm

At Pembangunan Pertanian Melaka Sdn Bhd also have good and kind staffs that share and taught much knowledge to us. Hence, with the internship we can improve our knowledge and raise our experience about the plantation. We also can raise the confident level during the working at the field. Moreover we can gain the communication skill with foreign worker and other staff. We learn how to discipline, punctual and respect other.
