Everything started with John, he was was an example to follow. He was 17 years old and he lived with his parents in a small town. John liked all sports, but his favorites were football and basketball. On the other hand, he was very handsome and generous, his passion was to change the world, and he had a quote wich motivated him every single day to be better: “Always give your best”. At school, he had a lot of friends and achievements, he was almost a perfect person, but soon he was about to discover what he was missing, that he wasn’t noticing. It was Angie, when she first saw her, he couldn’t even say hello, he was very nervous. John was like that all the week, he wasn’t capable of talking to her. Until one day, he was waiting for his mom to pick him up and, suddenly, he saw Angie, when she saw him, she smiled and started walking towards him. Then, she said: “Hey are you John? Do you remembered me from the beach?” That simple sentence was in off for him to lose the nerves to start talking to her again. Later that day, they accorded to see each other in the mall. They had such a great time together, they watched a movie and then they went to eat something. After that, they promised to see again, again and again. One day, John was ready to ask her to be his girlfriend. They planned to see each other in a park. He arrived 15 minutes earlier to prepare what he was going tos ay to her. When she appeared, he began to talk and talk about and when he was about to ask her if she would like to be his girlfriend, he couldn’t say it, he was so nervous that the words couldn’t get out of his mouth. Anthony’s parents held him back a year, because the guys in his class were horrible. The guys would make fun of him and call him names because of the way Anthony dressed and acted. In conclusion, John is the one to blame for the condition of the narrator. He first rents a house for both of them and then he isolates her and doesn 't let her do anything. Then John starts to treat her like a child making her think she 's a child. Lastly he puts her in a room by herself with a yellow wallpaper that has a pattern. Since she didn 't have anything to do she decides to figure out the pattern and throughout the story the wallpaper makes her go crazy.
Since The Road is more about the Boy’s journey than his father’s, the supreme ordeal at the end of the novel is the death of the Man. The death of the Man, who acted as the Boy’s mentor during the many challenges faced by the duo, represents the largest and most devastating challenge faced by the Boy. Not only is this due to the fact that the Boy feels unprepared to continue on without his father, but it is also because the “reward” and “road back” are not immediately apparent to the Boy. Compared to even the most challenging obstacles the Boy faced in the past, the death of his father leaves him both physically and mentally pained and exhausted. However, relief from his situation arrives promptly in the form of the stranger who claims to be a “good guy,” though the Boy’s future remains forever uncertain.

Most people will come across a person that they will become very close with and call them their best friend. Zach Martin is my best friend and there are many reason for that.
