My move from my home state of Maryland to Georgia has greatly influenced my goals and perspectives. When I lived in the city area of Maryland, I had a limited viewpoint of life as a person who knew only of the city and had relaxed belief of living only within my comfort zone of what a city had to offer, however that changed when I moved to Georgia. Georgia proved itself to be a very different experience for me. Georgia is a lot bigger than Maryland so there was more place for its cities to be more spread apart and the environment had a more forestry background than what I knew at the young age. The change of setting and accustoms associated from the very different places made me realize that depending on a person’s position one object can be
Change is something the whole world goes through at one point or another in their lives, but what’s vital is what we chose to do with that change. It was the summer of 2005, the weather outside was as heavy as an anvil, nevertheless this was the norm in south Florida. My childhood was one to reminisce. Life was perfect, but that all altered when my parents said we were moving to Atlanta Georgia. Things weren’t as easy as I thought they would be, but my biggest reason was my school
Moving to Idaho Falls would be a splendid idea. People who live in Idaho Falls tend to be more delighted than the rest. There are plenty of things to do such as, shopping, hanging out with friends, eating at restaurants, and plenty of other things. These three events have made me who I am today and I have gained a lot of new knowledge as well.
I’ve never seen snow in my life until we were on our way. We drove to Iowa so when we were getting close, I remember the first time I touched snow and it wasn’t anything I thought it was like. I thought snow was soft but when I touched it was hard and icy. We lived in my aunt’s house, in her basement. Starting school at the elementary in Orange City, I was used to having a variety of races in my school, but when I went to school for the first time here all I saw was white people. I didn’t fit in at my school at all, until my teacher made me share my locker with a kid that had also just moved into Orange City, he was also Hispanic, he later became my best friend, his name was
It was a rainy, gloomy afternoon, my sister and I were watching TV when we heard my parents talking to their friend about moving to Florida. My sister and I looked at each other with confused faces and asked each other if we are moving. Of course, we were clueless because my parents did not mention anything about moving to us. We asked my parents if we are moving and they said yes we are going to be moving to Florida. When my sister and I heard Florida, the first thing we thought was we are going to die from a tornado, because we thought Florida had a lot of hurricanes, earthquakes, and natural disasters. I didn’t want to move, I had a lot of friends in New York who I have known for almost all the 7 years of my life I have lived there and I loved making snowman’s and snow angels during the cold winters.
Moving houses had always been strenuous for me, especially since my family had moved multiple times. This was my family’s third time moving. We were moving from California to Indiana. Even though it was my third time moving, I still found it arduous to move locations and to say goodbye to the friends I made in California. Although the transition of moving was difficult, I decided to focus on the new experiences I would gain from moving.
When I was 14 I had to move to San Clemente, California. I had already recently moved temporarily to Texas while a house was made ready for us on the military base. “The house is ready!” my mother had said excitedly, after being on the phone for a few minutes. “It’s time to go back?” I had asked. She had said yes then left the room. I then had to move from Texas back to California with my mom, sister, brother, and pets. Once we arrived it was quite an adjustment, I gained an injury, a new academic program, and added responsibilities at home. I guess it didn’t have to be so hard, the move, but it was quite a difficult experience.
I am a creature of habit; big changes scare me. This is something that has really dominated my personality for the past couple of years. When I was going into the eighth grade, I moved from Richmond, Virginia to Phoenix, Arizona, a place where no one knew who I was and very few were willing to try and figure me out. I had lived my entire life in Richmond and was very unwilling to move. I think this is where my personality really began to evolve. I went through a phase where I was very closed off to everything and unwilling to try new things. Three years after this original move, I moved from Phoenix to Columbus, Ohio. Right before this move, I was beginning to come out of my shell and return to the original person I had been for the fourteen
I 'm not a native of Pennsylvania. Anyone can tell that from my intense love of snow and fall, two things you couldn 't find in a South Florida city like where I lived, where temperatures were always high and foliage stayed the same year round. If you were born in Pennsylvania, you grew up hearing people tell stories of hitting a deer at night meanwhile I grew up hearing stories of people finding alligators in their backyard. Most people know what it 's like to move to a new place, whether it 's a new town, state or country, however, I feel my dramatic move along with the circumstances surrounding it are unique. It taught me that you can make the best out of even the worst situations.
The move back to Maryland was one of the biggest challenges in my life, everything was okay in Ohio until my step dad caused problems with me and my mom. It all started when my mom tried kicking my step dad out of the house for domestic violence. She kicked him out because not only has he fought with my mom, but he and I have fought a few times. Everything seemed fine at first until he kept bringing police officers to our house claiming almost all of our household items were his and he wanted to get them back.
Have You ever wanted to know what South Carolina is like? Well, Im going to tell you how it is down their. I was only 5 or 6 when i moved down there and we used live in dayton OH, but it took us about a week to decide if we wanted to move and pack up everything. At the time we had 3 dogs Trooper, Oatie, and Patches. I wanted oatie to go with us but my mom wanted patches so she won and patches got to go with us. we gave the other two to loving homes. Early on the weekend we had the trucks all packed up and we were ready to go. we left early in the morning so traffic wouldn 't be bad, it took us about 2 days to get down to South Carolina. When we go there we went to my Aunt and Uncles house where we stayed for about a year before

We finally got to Winston-Salem after 2 hours of a long drive. When we pulled up to our new home it was bigger then the last one, I was happy that I moved to Winston, but the only thing was that I didn 't want to go to my new school because I knew no one there and it was going to be very awkward, but when I went the next day it wasn 't that bad, I made new friends so, I wasn 't so lonely. My mom went to work while I was at school. She said that she was glad that she took this job and she doesn 't regret it at all and I was really happy for her. The rest of that day, we explored the places that are in Winston. I 'm happy that I move here because I have more friends then I had back then but I still go see my old friends
I grew up in inner city Baltimore Maryland. Neither of my parents were or are followers of Christ. They divorced when I was very young. I spent most of my life moving from place to place with my mother and two brothers. I gave up on high school when I failed my freshmen year. I didn’t have a care in the world about anything except my own desires and needs. My mother started to get in trouble with the state of Maryland because I was not old enough to be out of school. She cut me deal by saying if I went to school until I was old enough to drop out, she would sign my drop out papers.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my resume, I have recently moved to Ontario and Iam eager to discover this amazing province. I have lived in several countries including: England, Spain and Brazil; I am now a permanent resident of Canada with dual citizenship; Brazil and Spain. I can speak and write fluently in both English and Portuguese and have an intermediate level in Spanish. Due to multiple living locations I have developed my sense and respect for different cultures, religions and way of life, creating an ability to adapt to many situations; by developing scenarios where, "thinking on your feet", being innovative, compassionate, empathetic and dedicated as well as, having a thirst for knowledge and understanding are thriving
