I feel like racism is a problem now to this day, is because of what has happened in the past. When blacks and whites had to be separated from everything. School, Playgrounds, Water Fountains, and etc. From a Passage, I 've read gives out a something that involves with that. CP Ellis wrote “Black boy, you see a little young white boy up here? I just got a call from him and was told some black boy robbed him for fifteen cents” (225). So that sentence clearly says that terkel is very racist. But now black and whites are more aggressive and have gangs that start shooting others for no reason. Because of that people get treated differently and that 's the main problem because how people get treated by color differences occur

Another problem and cause with racism are how others think when you see something happening others might take it if that race has the same characteristics. Which would be under the lines of racial profiling. Racial profiling occurs when a person in authority, particularly a law enforcement agent, suspects people of criminal behavior based solely on their race, ethnicity, or national origin. This has become a very big problem in the 21st century because you see a lot of shooting with cops recently, and the news channel twisted up the story to make the crime more live for others to be worried about. One of the articles wrote“In 2012, George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer in Sanford, Florida, shot and killed unarmed African-American teenager Trayvon Martin as Martin was walking through a gated community where his father 's fiancée lived. Zimmerman later claimed that Martin had attacked him, and a jury acquitted him of any wrongdoing, but many observers argued that Martin was an innocent victim of racial profiling. Though Zimmerman was not an actual law enforcement agent, the incident revitalized efforts to pass a national ban on racial profiling.” These are one of the crises that we human beings have to look out for.
