The Tragedy of Hamlet, is a twisted play written by William Shakespeare, Hamlet is a tragic play set in Denmark. Shakespeare’s Hamlet shows the life of the young and troubled Prince Hamlet, who’s world gets turned upside down after his father is killed, and his mother, Gertrude, quickly marries King Hamlet 's brother and murderer. In Hamlet, there are several types of corruption throughout the play, including murder, false faces, deceit, spying, and poisonings. Evil is a controlling factor throughout the play. In the beginning of Hamlet, Prince Hamlet is summoned by his father 's ghost to come talk to him outside of Elsinore(Roberts 1263). The ghost of King Hamlet, tells Hamlet how he was murdered and who the murderer is(1265). The ghost tells Hamlet that Claudius poured poison in his ear while he was sleeping in the garden. The ghost asks Hamlet to set out to get revenge on his murderer.
