CHAPTER I CULTURAL ANALYSIS This chapter emphasizes the cultural environment of Malta. Analyzing these cultural factors will help us to determine what and how our product will be. The latter, introduction, tells us the main points in Malta’s cultural analysis. I. Introduction Malta is beautiful island in the heart of the Mediterranean. It lies 80 kilometers South Italy and a part of the European Union .It is considered as one of the 32 countries with an advanced economy as reported by the International Monetary Fund (MF). Malta has an estimated population of 445, 426 where 95% are Maltese and 4.83% Non- Maltese. With its preserved pre-historic places, Malta is considered as one of the richest history in the world. Tourism is their number one industry because Malta is a popular tourist destination with 1.6 million tourists yearly which is thrice the number of its residents. Malta has lots of captivating beaches, amusing historical structures and relaxing hotels and that captures tourists to visit Malta but we wanted to make the country more recognizable where vacationers can say: “Malta is worth visiting for” that is why I FORESTA DISTRETT (The Forest District) will open its gate for all and paint the nature experience for both citizens and travelers. II. Relevant History Moving backward, Malta’s history starts when the Pottery found by the archeologists at Skorba resembles that found in Italy, and suggests that the Maltese islands were first put into place in 5200 BC
In the movie The Natural, there are many examples of Americana. The two examples that I found were Cultural Heritage, Ideals,Music, and Preserving tradition. Cultural Heritage relates to the movie because the movie is mainly about a baseball player, name Roy Hobbs, he goes to a carnival and plays a game of competitive baseball, and the Knights contractor sent Hobbs to the Knights coach after Hobbs signed the contract to play ball. Cultural Heritage and Ideals somewhat go together in this movie. Hobbs is treated badly when he first approaches the Knights coach, but he would soon show the coach that he is no longer an underdog, and he has hope for the team.
Gene Brucker offers insight into the lives and minds of 15th century Italy through a court case about Giovanni and Lusanna’s involving the legality of their marriage. He utilized several primary sources to provide a descriptive narrative of this case. Even though Brucker used primary sources, primarily notarial sources, these show clear evidence of bias, and in turn these biases are reflected in his work. To begin with, Brucker’s primary material falls into the legal category, notarial sources, from Ser Filippo Mazzaei. Although these legal works supply the evidence and court battle that occurred, these don’t provide a clear voice to the defendant, Giovanni, nor the plaintiff, Lusanna.
Seeing as both cultures are constantly being associated with one another I decided to compare the Cupisnique vessel with a vessel from the Moche civilization, which existed from approximately 100 to 800 C.E. (Module 5.4.). The Moche vessel that was introduced in this course was from The Fowler Museum located at UCLA. The ceramic vessels from the Moche civilization were said to portray warriors, rulers, and gods. Moche vessels were also buried with their owners to accompany them in the afterlife.
The country’s second smallest capitol, the only example of a state and capitol that doesn’t share any letters, Pierre, South Dakota. Pierre remains the capitol of South Dakota with interesting and exciting places to visit, including the Cultural Heritage Center, the Capitol building, and the Laframboise Island. Need a place to connect with people and grow closer to your family? Pierre’s the place to be. Jazz Orr Mr. Winslow U.S. History 15 April 2016 Income Inequality Income inequality has been a great factor in America today. The Roman Republic had been through a similar situation and had a common path as the United States, which we are currently still in. The society of the Roman Republic in 509 B.C. fell in 27 B.C. because of the gap between the rich and the poor. What needs to be taken into consideration to end income inequality is how people are being taxed and which type of people have their hands in the political process.

Amidst the gondolas and waterways of Venice, Italy lies an iconic and historic center of worship. Saint Mark’s Basilica, built over a thirty- one year span from 1063 to 1094, has been used for Roman Catholic mass services for almost 1,000 years. Home to extensive mosaics and stunning architecture, Saint Mark’s Basilica stands as a testament to the splendor and religious importance of the eleventh century. The complex architecture of Saint Mark’s Basilica blends techniques from three different cultures/ eras. One can identify elements of both Byzantine, Gothic, and Italian architecture in Saint Mark’s Basilica (San Marco Basilica).

We begin this paper by questioning: What Culture is and how is it related to Heritage? Culture is people’s way of life. It is the characteristic of group of people defined by everything they possess such as language, religion, lifestyle, belief, attitude, food, rituals, customs, behavior, etc. Culture is a set of knowledge acquired overtime. Heritage, on the other hand, is the valued objects and qualities such as historic buildings and cultural traditions that have been passed own from previous generations.
