With the invasion of illegal workers, Malaysia is one of the main market for drug traffickers (Jenishbek, 2016). Furthermore, drug trade activity extends to all areas with the support of internet. Section 39B of Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 requires that whoever is found guilty of drug trafficking should be punished by death (Harun, 2012). However, section 37 of that act imposed to anyone who is in control of 15g or more of heroin or morphine or 200g or more of cannabis will be presumed to be a drug trafficker. The quantity of the drug will acknowledge the accused person a drug trafficker or not. This can encourages many people to purchase drugs as long as it does not exceed 15g or 200g. Most of the drug traffickers are using internet to develop their drug trafficking business. After all, there is no act in Malaysia that give punishment to online drug traffickers. Computer Crime Act 1997 provides sentence for those who misuse the computer but there is no specify offence for online drug trafficking. Therefore, cybercrime acts in Malaysia are lacking that drug traffickers are taking advantage on the internet. Due to the rising of cybercrime in Malaysia, many campaigns had been held to raise awareness about this issue. According to Datuk Dr. Abu Bakar, Cyber Security Malaysia had presented many campaigns to raise knowledge about crime through cyber like Safer Internet Day Campaign (“Cyber-bullying Reports up 55.6% in 2013”, 2014). However, the campaigns that had been held are inadequate to raise alertness among the users as most of the campaigns are just been conducted for short period of
The author also states that because manufacturer’s are no longer providing correctional centers with the drugs, the states are considering bringing execution methods from centuries ago back in practice. Alternative execution methods such as the electric chair are being considered. The discontinued legal drugs and shortage has caused secrecy in how the drugs are obtained. Because correctional centers are buying drugs from the Indian black market illegally, the Drug Enforcement Administration
U.S.-Mexico Border: Using Military Forces With the advent of the 20th century and technological advances, criminals have found newer and more complicated ways to commit crimes. Compounding the problem is the advent of the digital age, which introduces the internet and cyberspace. These two technologies alone provide boundless avenues for committing illegal activities within the criminal element of the population. From time, immemorial, criminals have been a part of the fabric of every society and come from every walk of life.
The 2014 National Drug Threat Assessment (NDTA) Summary discourses evolving expansions associated with the trafficking and use of main illicit drugs abuse. The U.S. seizures of illegal substances in shipment exceeded 1,626 metric tons, demonstrating that DTOs have great succeed in shipping thousand tons of cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, heroin, and MDMA into the United States each year. (DEA 2014) There are exceptional smuggling and shipping methods related with each drug type, but drug seizure statistics and federal, state, and local law enforcement reporting shows that smuggling overland and transportation by vehicle surpass all other methods of smuggling combined. The 2014 National Drug Control Strategy, in which has had very little
However, some cases legislation came after arrangements between software companies and lawmaker. Which the focuses on crimes related to computer abuse, also measures to encourage cybercrime policing. Furthermore, police forces are having issues enforcing cyber policy is it time for police forces to create their own cybercrime police force, it is clear that police forces have issues with forcing impactfully policy on cybercrime. Furthermore, the problem does not generally reside with law enforcement agencies, therefore law enforcement agencies need support. What types of governance and regulation would be in this area, also how well the government well respond to cybercrimes.
For example, agencies have been established with the sole intent to manage drug use and distribution and technology has been exclusively developed to detect the presence of drugs. Yet, evidence has indicated that such exhaustive efforts have been relatively unsuccessful. First, it has been assumed that drugs have perpetuated violence in society and based on this rationale, it was believed that by the suppressing the pervasiveness of drugs that incidents of violence would simultaneously diminish. However, reality has failed to align with the expectations that had initially been anticipated. Research findings have suggested that the decriminalization of drugs would result in a less adversarial drug market in which conflicts have tended to arise among dealers as well as between dealers and buyers (Common Sense for Drug Policy, 2007, p. 21).
1.0 Introduction As we come into an increasingly technologically based future, Australia, as a nation and a society, is facing more and more of one particular form of offense- cyberbullying. Unfortunately, despite greater efforts to counter it, the practice is quickly becoming one that current laws cannot control, and it’s about time Australians considered a change. The simple truth is that existing laws are inadequate and outdated, and, in order to protect our children, and our loved ones, a better solution is required. 2.0
Drugs are the dangerous substances that will destroy the consumer both physically and mentally; therefore, it is necessary to determine these substances restrictively. In order to do that, I am strongly assuring that the drugs should be legalized. There are three main reasons why the drugs should be legalized: diminution of crime rates, health guarantee, and extending of drugs regulation. Drugs are one of the crime sources, although not by the drugs, itself, but the condition. Illegal drugs are rare products that could not be found in the normal market, the cost for its rarity is totally expensive.
The continuous use of narcotics results in addiction, and financial struggles due to the costly upkeep. “Financial problems are one of the major side effects of drug and substance abuse” (Buaggett, 2015). Addicts cannot adequately take an active role in the economic activities, as the use of drugs inhibits the abilities of the users to earn a daily living. Due to the instability of finances, this would result in selling personal belongings to continue funding the substance of choice, and depending on the addicts living situation, this could lead to losing their house or being removed from their current housing. While being under the influence, an addicts voice of reason is jeopardized, resulting in criminal activities which raise the chances of being apprehended by the law enforcers, as well as, heavy fines are imposed.
What really ‘skewers my kebabs’ is why federals don't take any action on any of this. The "Silk Road", a website on the deep web containing illegal drugs for rather cheap prices was taken down in late 2013 by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Even so that won't stop any of these repulsive human beings lurking around on the Deep Web. Operators of the deep web try very hard to keep their identities sealed so most people don't get caught and pay their crime.

The misuse of drugs has become one of the major challenges to face the UK Government as it not only affects user’s personal-health but it also has a large negative impact on communities (Nutt et al., 2007). In 1971 due to the rising problems encountered in regards to drug misuse the Government passed the Misuse of Drugs Act (MDA). The act created three main classes labelled A, B, and C. Controlled substances that fall under class A (i.e. cocaine, heroin, MDMA) are deemed to be the most harmful to the users and others and carry strict penalties for possession (Up to 7 years in prison, an unlimited fine or both) and intent to supply (Up to life in prison, an unlimited fine or both) (MDA, 1971). Controlled substances in class B (i.e. cannabis,
activities, the more efficient will be the outcome of separate events. The trafficking of dangerous drugs is not a local issue but rather national and international in scope. Drug trafficking groups and organizations do not limit their actions to any particular geographic boundary. Intelligence gathering and distribution to assist in identifying all levels of criminal trafficking organization are necessary for coordination and to stop duplication of effort. Accordingly, various federal, state, and local agencies have joined forces on national as well as regional levels, to achieve better results.
Des Moines in 1969 (Tedford & Herbeck, 2009, pp 1-4) which is in the cover statement, the U.S. or the court stated through this case and more recently, the federal government has determined the need for off campus behavior, such as cyberbullying, controlled by schools. For the state level, which is just like the law of speech and disturbance at the federal level, each country continues to struggle with determine the problem and what legal action to take when violation occurs. In the other hand Malaysia use Computer Crimes Act 1997, in Section Four: Unauthorized access to computer materials with the intent to commit or facilitate an offence. If convicted, the offender is liable to a fine of not more than RM150, 000 or a prison term of not more than 10

But before I go further let me start by telling you the meaning of cybercrime, Cybercrime is different and more heinous than normal crime that we know. This crime is committed in an electronic medium and here means read is not a requirement and is done in secret Feldman(2013). Secondly let me talk about the effect of cybercrime in our society today.
People from different sections of the universe are interacting, collaborating, socializing and doing other different activities via internet, which in turn exposes their personal information in cyberspace. Lack of knowledge and cyber security awareness makes these people to be vulnerable to hackers and other malicious players who use the cyber environment. These has been supported by Furnell, Bryan, Phippton, (2007) when they argued that personal or individual internet users are highly exposed to security threats while using their own home computers. It is therefore important that internet users should have clear understanding of all the risks of using internet, the importance of protecting their personal information and the outcome if this is not done
