According to Wikipedia, the method of electricity generation is to generate electrical energy from the other forms of energy like solar, wind, water energy. In the year 1860, the generator was invented by Michael Faraday. Generators convert mechanical energy obtained from the external source into electrical energy as the output. We all know that electricity is one of the most important needs of humans in life. Because nowadays, almost everything you see around is being powered by electricity. Electricity is an energy that produces power to every appliance and technology devices to make people 's life easier and convenient. According to Anderson (2012), Importance of Electricity – How It Changed People’s Lives, hundreds of years ago, people have never imagined that they can make lives very easy through technology. In the modern day, people cannot imagine life without electricity. Electricity is necessity because it is needed in almost all the things that we do in our daily lives. Without electricity, we won 't be able to communicate with others digitally, do our work easier and faster, and even use the basic appliances that we have at home.
There are different types of sources that can produce energy so that the generators will convert it to electricity. First, the human powered generator works when the initial energy is provided by the arm rather than steam by burning coal or a flowing river.
