The Begining of Internet
The internet was made to move data. It was created by engineers committed to the idea that information should be shared like stories around the world 's biggest campfire. It started small but it grew, smarter algorithm and faster networks. As more computers connected more content was created, more bandwidth was built and more people came together. The internet has got blogs, likes, selfies and memes (OMG, BRB, TTYL, etc...). It took on more data for more places. Things like movies, music, and gifs. Now the web moves 2.5 quintillion bytes of data every day, that 's everything written by any human by any language times 7. The internet today has reached more people in more places, in less time than any other technology

How does the internet work?
Have you ever wondered how the internet actually works when your chatting on your smartphone with grandma or playing an online video game or sending an email to a friend? The internet can feel like magic, but understanding how the internet works are critical especially when policymakers are considering net neutrality rules that could dramatically change our internet experience. So let 's go deep inside the internet and take a look at whats actually happening. Internet traffic is divided into parcels of data called packets. The packets split apart when you hit Send, but come back together when they arrive at their destination. These packets are converted into pulses of light to radio signals that travel through a cable to a device called a router. The router sends the packets along to their destination. It operates something like a conveyor belt sorting luggage at an airport when there 's no congestion. These packets move to their destination without difficulty or delay. But what happens when there are too many packets moving through a junction at a given moment in time? Let 's say an Email hits a bottleneck, random packets will drop and try again a few milliseconds later when it 's their turn at a junction. Your Email may be delayed a second or
The SIFS( Shortest Inter-Frame Space),derives the time between the last transmission and high priority transmissions such as positive acknowledgments(ACKs),Clear-To-Send(CTS)frames,polling responses, continuation frames in a burst transmission. priority is given to the positive ACK frames so that a station which has just completed the reception of a frame can give immediate feedback to the sender. RTS and CTS frame coordinate correspondence between sets of stations so that different stations know not the medium to be free for the time of the exchange .This is one of the reasons for why the control frames have priority over normal data transmissions. If a station finished transmitting a frame and has enough time left to send an additional frame, it is allowed to send after a SIFS.
We are now just one click away from buying a car or communicating with someone halfway across the world. “The Internet has revolutionized the computer and communications world like nothing before. ”("Internet Society."). Scientists and engineers like Roberts and Kleinrock worked very hard to put their ideas down on paper to describe this global communication through a network. The first form of the Internet was originally called ARPANET.
This component is when you transmit any file from one computer to another computer, this is usually a much larger file. Most of the webs users would explain this simply as sending it to another computer that is set up to receive it or to send it up onto the internet where several people will be able to access it from their own computers. For example, YouTubers upload their videos on to the YouTube
You leave your garbage in bags on the curbside, and a truck comes and transports it to some invisible place. When you're in danger, you call for the police. Hot water pours from faucets. Lift a receiver or press a button on a telephone, and you can speak to anyone. All the information in the world is on the Internet, and the Internet is all around you, drifting through the air like pollen on a summer breeze.
Layer three, the network layer, takes network addresses and makes them physical while “routing” data determining whether or not data is sent from the sender to the receiver. In the network layer encloses data in a packet then sends the packet to the data link layer, the second layer. The data link layer transforms the packets into frames. Doing this allows the data to be transmitted in the physical layer. A known hardware device that performs at this layer is a NIC or a network interface card.
Millennials are concerned about the regulations on net neutrality will be removed, and what that will mean about how the internet will work afterwards. Will taking away net neutrality affect the way providers charge or will the internet regulate itself? Taking away net neutrality is sort of taking away our basic freedoms or the 1st amendment, and if we lose that we can revolt until we get it back. Without net neutrality internet providers would be able to charge you for certain websites or information which is not a bad thing in itself but, people are greedy and the providers would go overboard and most likely block things like Google or Bing unless you give them more money. Blocking things like gaming sites or even adult websites would be
Software routines will handle traffic that is coming in from different sources and that will choose where it will end up. Towards the end it will work out where it need to go and which devices will take the data. Also devices and software such as for interface card for the device driver. This is allowing the data to handle incoming packets from various locations and it select the last place it travels to. Error handling and diagnostics is when a device is allowed to access a network layer locally.
By the 1960s, computers were used for data processing, scientific research, and military operations. The development of the microprocessor led to the creation of smaller, more powerful, and more affordable computers. This enabled the development of personal computers and eventually the internet. The internet had a profound impact on communication, information sharing, and business.
The internet could be the most valuable invention that was made in the modern age. With the force of the web individuals basically can do anything. From learning how to cook to building a car. The possibility is endless. The modernization of the internet can have positive and negative effects on the world.
Web Development 2 (WD2) 1.1 The hardware components which enable internet access are: Routers – A small device which joins multiple networks together, its entire purpose is to send/route data packets between networks and devices on the network. Routers use wireless and wired technologies to send data packets. Allows multiple computers or other devices join the same network. Ethernet cables – which is normally an RJ-45 cable that connects to the Ethernet card inside the device, the purpose of it is to communicate with the hub/modem/router.
Internet is developing day to day. Internet and networks are binding us in new ways. As Rheingold argues, “There is a huge social issue at work in digital literacy, one that goes beyond personal authority. Every intercourse creates new association in a child’s brain, every email, tweet, search, or post is contributing and nourishing connections in our global brain, changing the shape of the Internet that we billions of people are progressing together. Young child brain or an internet brain both are always trying to make connections.
What is Web Design? A Web site is the final output of a Web design. The Web site sits on a Web server where electronic files are stored. The Web site presents the contents and interactive features or interfaces to the end user in the form of Web pages.
NET NEUTRALITY: Net Neutrality is also known as Open Internet and Internet Neutrality. Net neutrality is the principle that to treat all the data on the internet in same way by Internet Service Providers (ISP) not discriminate or changing differently by users, applications, and websites. OPEN INTERNET: The idea of an open internet is that all the resources of the internet to operate it easily by each individual and companies; this includes ideas like net neutrality and transparency.
Conceptual Framework Media and information literacy has a big purpose in every learner. It is very important to have knowledge into it and advance education about it. But the come out of this point, majority of the learners are lack of knowledge on MIL and it manifest of-the-line the level of knowledge in media and information literacy. According to Wikipedia, media and information literacy recognizes the major role of information and media in our everyday lives.
How to Easily Get Famous on Instagram? / How to Buy Instagram followers / Why You Should Buy Instagram Followers It is very important these days to stay up to date with the both real and virtual world.
