The following I am going to write will help you to understand a little bit more the story because are topics that are related to the movie. First of all the Jewish Holocaust; All start when Adolf Hitler became the authority of Germany. Holocaust is a word of Greek origin meaning “sacrifice by fire.” The Nazis who came to power in Germany in January 1933, believed that the Germans were “superiors” than the Jews, were “lesser”, were a threat to the “German Community.” In 1933, the Jewish population of Europe is located in more than 9 million. The majority of the Jews lived in countries that Nazi Germans would occupy during The World War II. In 1945, the Germans killed almost two out of every three Jews as part of the “Final Solution”, the Nazi policy to assassinate Europe´s Jews. The Second topic is the Warsaw Ghetto; Before World War II, Warsaw was one of the most diverse cites in the second Polish republic. The German people went to Poland and take control of Warsaw (Warsaw is the capital of Poland). The Jewish people lived on Warsaw when the German people arrived there they take the Jewish people as “slaves”
The holocaust came into germany with great power all the germans listened to hitler when he said “Eliminate the jews, and you will eliminate all of Germany’s problems. Hitler’s influence spread across to europe then many people turned on their jewish neighbors. The text also said “Orphaned children begged in the streets. The dead lay slumped in doorways”(9) for a lot of jews sneaking out was hard but it was crucial for survival. The Nazis were only giving them one tenth of a meal each day.
The Holocaust was a very terrible history of Germany, this happened many years ago, and people in Germany were ashamed of what they did. The Holocaust started in January 13, 1933 and end in May 8, 1945. During that time Jews were sent to concentration camp. Elie Wiesel, the author of the book called Night, he was one of the Jews that got sent to the concentration camp. During that time, he had a very terrible experience in the concentration camps.
WWII Rough Draft The Holocaust all started back in 1933 when a leader named Adolf Hitler started a Nazi group that were out to kill Jews. Not all Nazis that were led by Hilter really were against the Jews. Some of the Nazis liked the Jews but were forced to either kill them or put them in concentration camps that housed jews. The concentration camps detained jews in horrible conditions.
The holocaust what does it mean? January 30, 1933 it all began. Jews started dying in vain. The holocaust became the end of the world for Jews. Innocent lives were taken away children that didn't have the fault.
Before the Holocaust, Europe had about 9.5 million Jews. Marc states, about six million Jews were murdered. The Holocaust began in 1933, Adolf Hitler became the leader of Germany, He believed that the Germans were racially superior convinced Germany to declare WWII all over Europe and controlled most of the countries in Europe. Till this day people are in shock that so many lives were killed during a time-period. most Jews were killed until 1939, in Poland about 91 percent of Jewish people were slaughtered and tortured.
During the Holocaust, the jews in the Warsaw ghetto faced many hardships. In this paper I will give my input on the jews hardships, and how they managed to survive despise being oppressed by the germans. On November 16, 1940, all the jews in the currently-occupied polish city of Warsaw were forced into a ghetto, which was only 2.4% of the total land mass of the city. To put that into perspective, during that time there was 375,000 jews living in Warsaw. That means a single building housed multiple families of jews.
The Holocaust took place during the years 1933 to 1945. It was an attempt to remove all of the Jews, and other smaller groups such as homosexuals and Jehovah's Witnesses, which lived in the country of Germany. The events that took place during the holocaust were lead by a German man named Adolf Hitler. Schindler's List is a film about the Holocaust from a man named Oskar Schindler's perspective as a leader of a concentration camp. The film displays the five stages of the Holocaust.
The Holocaust was a dark period of time between 1933-1945. The period in time was the cause of an attempt of redemption from Germany led by Adolf Hitler. A survivor of these attacks, Elie Wiesel, made a story of how he lived through the holocaust.
Everyone who has learned about World War II should know about the Holocaust. The Holocaust was during the same period of World War II. “What is it called the Holocaust?” you may ask. The Holocaust originates from the Greek language and means “completely burnt offering to God.”
The Nazis believed the Germans were “racially superior” and the Jews were inferior (The Holocaust). Over 6 million Jews lost their lives during the Holocaust (The Holocaust). The main targets were Jews, disabled, Gypsies, and slavic people (The Holocaust). If they did not match the “social norms”, they were killed (The Holocaust). Between the years 1941 and 1944, Jews were deported to concentration camps where they were then killed (The Holocaust).
¨ The- Germans were already in town, the fascist were already in power, the verdict had already been pronounced, yet the Jew of sight continued to smile ¨ ( Wiesel 18).The Holocaust was Adolf Hitlers plan to exterminate the European Jews. During world war ll six million Jews were massacred by the Nazis. The Jew was forced to a camp and the Nazi will also forced Jew to work to the death and if they seem too weak to work they will be executed. Also They made camp for the Jews for them to all stay in one place because the German believed the Jew was the cost for world war 1 and the jews was making the world to a worst place.
The Holocaust is a time in history when millions of people were persecuted in Europe by being sent to live in ghettos and eventually being deported to concentration camps where they were systematically annihilated until the Allied forces liberated the remaining survivors. The Jews were moved to the ghettos, because Hitler pushed the Jews to move to the east, then they concore move of the east and move them more to the east. Then “there was no more room for them to move to the east, so they built ghettos for them to live” (Byers 32). But his true intentions were to “separate the Jewish people from manly Germans and also other races” (Allen 37).
The word Holocaust itself comes from the Greek words holos and kaustos, which means burned as whole. It also signifies a tradition in which the Jews burned people as sacrifices for their Gods. Before the Holocaust, the Jews in Germany and Western Europe were a part of the nation; they only differed in their religion. They had the same rights and opportunities as the Germans there. Nearly two-thirds of the 500,000 Jews were engaged in trade and commerce, one quarter worked in industry, and about one-eighth were in public service and the professions--mainly law and medicine.
The Holocaust was a horrific tragedy which started in January of 1933 and ended in May of 1945, the Holocaust was the mass murder of millions of people. The word was derived from the Greek word that meant Sacrifice to the Gods (Steele 7), also called the Shoan which is the Hebrew word for catastrophe (Steele 7). So many countries took place in this 12-year genocide, including, “Germany, Italy, Japan, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria, which were also known as the Axis Powers” (Steele 34). But, although there were all those countries they were all part of one larger group called the Nazis, were the ones who were killing all the different denominations of people. (Bachrach 58).
The Holocaust is the deadliest recognized genocide in human history. It lasted from January 30,1933 – May 8,1945 and would result in the l1 million deaths. The causes of the Holocaust begin at the end of World War One with what Germans referred to as “the stab in the back”. This was a myth that claimed the German Army did not loose World War One but was betrayed by the Jewish population who gave up land and supplies to the Allies. As this spread anti-Semitism or hate for Jewish people grew in Germany as people viewed the Jewish population as deceptive and traitorous.
