Conflicts constitute the essence of development; without conflicts the progress of countries are disguised under the shadow of movement. In other words, movement is often assumed to be progress. The fact that mere movement is an obstacle towards development cannot be denied and must be dealt with, and therefore, conflicts must occur for the development and progression of a nation. However, sometimes, conflicts overlay the sense of unity between people and eradicate the resilient bond between them. In Lebanon, many conflicts obstructed the progress and development of the nation and therefore, no progress could be conducted over the course of the last decade. Lebanon is a country that faced devastating conflicts instigated by the variance of religions, corrupt government, and abominable religious groups. Religion can be both a blessing and a curse simultaneously. The communion between human beings and God is the most divine blessing that could be encountered. However, the difference and variance in religion can drive people to execute repulsive and hideous acts that are often opposed by the religion itself. Variance in religion highly influenced the spread of conflicts. Members of the Lebanese government use their ranks to achieve personal goals at the cost of the citizens. Also, the radical religious groups in Lebanon advocate the spread of weapons to the public. In addition, the groups negatively influence the society in terms of morals. Lebanon confronted various conflicts initiated by the discrepancy of religions, unethical government, and radical religious groups. Conflicts can initiate development and progression of a system of integrated people when it is constrained and limited to the appropriate measures; however when conflicts exceed the limits, the system burns into ashes of
