I believe the assassination of Abraham Lincoln was unjust because he opposed slavery and was a good leader however some believe he is what started the civil war that cost the North and South to fight each other. As the result, he passed out the Emancipation Proclamation on September 22, 1862, which give freedom to slaves in the states that the Union did not control.
