Did you know "becoming a certified nurse practitioner requires completing 500 didactic hours and 500 to 700 clinical hours" (Interesting Facts About Nurse Practitioner Grads)? Becoming a nurse takes continuous hours of study and practice in order to be successful. In this world, people are always needed that are willing to take care of others. Some individuals dream of becoming nurses or doctors ever since they were young, like myself. Ever since I was a child, I have wanted to impact the lives of others. As I grew older, several things influenced me that verified my career decision. Over time, I have developed qualities that will be necessary for this career. This includes honesty, dependability, and being a leader. I realize this dream continues to come closer to reality. I will be graduating high school next year with my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This is an advantage as I apply for nursing school. This career best fits me because I will have the necessary qualities and skills needed, I will have the education required, and I am going to significantly impact the lives of others. Human beings have unique characteristics that make them who they are today. Two individuals may have similar features, but everyone is completely different. Nursing has always been my passion ever since I was young. I have started my nursing career by gaining knowledge and ideas through personal and social experience. I must be determined, dedicated, and motivated throughout this journey. These qualities allow me to be a successful individual. I look forward to gaining the knowledge required to be a licensed nurse practitioner. Impacting the lives of others and making a change in this world is my number one goal.
