In Buncombe County, 17.5 percent of residents are over the age of 65 and 12 percent of the population 18 and over have one or more types of disabilities, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Our neighbors, relatives, and friends all deserve to be cared for appropriately and we are a key part to ensuring that they are safe.
