Responsibilities to Community and Society As an early childhood educator, we are required to equip the community with programs that meets the varied needs of families, as well as assisting in the expansion of programs in the community that are not yet available. We are also obligated to collaborate with professional companies that have a part in caring for children, as well as assisting families in obtaining connections to those companies. (Gordon & Browne, Code of Ethical Conduct: Ethical Responsibilities to the Community and Society, 2005). This helps to increase the development of a child centered society. The ideals and principles below describe the shared work between the individual early childhood educator, and the educator that is collectively interested in the best interests of children.

While family engagement confers benefits on all students, those with disabilities often require a greater degree of parental involvement . Their families play a number of supporting roles. When families and educators work together as partners, it enhances the likelihood that children with disabilities will have positive and successful learning experiences. If parents are involved in their child’s therapy programs, they are involved in the development and implementation of interventions.
It is important to keep all informed with the latest school activities. This gains support as well as partnerships that can lead to contributions financially and volunteering. Greater relations between the school and community help support and reinforce academic and social outcomes of the school community. When students and parents are have positive influences and resources in the local community, the school serves as a helpful resource to educate the whole

Although more research is needed to find out the true impact of parenting education it 's clear that parenting education is both needed and effective. I personally believe that there is a need for parenting education it not only effective, but a key tool for parents to better raise their children if they need the help. Offering parents, the tools to be better parents is a key component in better child care and protection. More child welfare agencies need to continue investing and implement parenting education programs in order to help families become healthier and

The aims of equality policies and procedures in early child care and education is to encourage children and adults to achieve their full potential, making the environment a place where everyone feels valued and respected. The staff working with children should improve their knowledge about culture, beliefs and disabilities, in order to prepare children to live in a diverse society. Having written policy and procedures in the setting will help the staff to provide a high quality childcare practice. Staff and parents meetings should be used also for discussion about discrimination and prejudice concerns in order to be solved and to create new strategies and programme to use for making children understand the equality and

We must incorporate what is best for the students by helping further develop their education and not what will get us the most funding possible.
