Bullying is a harmful thing that nobody should be a victim or attacker of. In the book “Lord of the Flies” the main characters are Piggy, Jack, Simon, and Ralph. Piggy looks different than the other boys and has issues that affect his lifestyle. The articles “Bullying in Early Adolescence by Dorothy L. Espelage.” and “Online Identity by CommonLit Staff.” supports the idea that having the issues he has can cause bullying by other youth to make themselves feel better and for entertainment.

Lastly, Jack is known as the rebel of the story who disagrees with the leaders, and is pure evil from middle to end. Although Jack is evil, his bad character trait ensures his survival and alliance with the boys. The first example of when Jack’s evilness is shown in the story is when Jack hunts the pig and puts its head on a stick, the line says “ Jack held the head up and jammed the soft throat down on the pointed end of the stick which pierced through into the mouth. He stood back and the head hung there, a little blood dribbling down the stick” ( Golding, 150). This shows Jack’s evilness because instead of fearing the beast he is offering him the head of the pig that he just brutally murdered.
Nowadays bullying has become the major and common problem for children and can awfully affect their lives in many different ways such as depression and suicide. William Golding’s novel, Lord of the Flies, takes place in the 1950’s in England, where Golding used to be a school teacher and face many types of problems among children. According to his novel, bullying is a particular problem for Piggy who cannot fit in a community because of his initial appearance. Even though Lord of the Flies has many purposes and it is not focused on just one target, Golding explains bullying and its impacts on Piggy very smoothly beside the main idea of the story. He shows how bullying causes Piggy to lose his self-confidence, breaking his glasses and became dependent and intimidated.

In the book most of the boys go through a phase that they never went through before, through out the book they're going through a "animal-like" phase that I feel the reader does not expect from them. I decided a decision} to concentrate on Jack because I believe that he was a lot more animal-like then the other boys because of that I think he extremely stands out because of his actions and feelings he made the other boys animal-like. Jack’s five character traits are that he is kind, Christian, calm, quiet, and honest. Being kind is a strength for Jack because that means that he is a person people feel happy to be around and always leaves a positive impression with whomever he meets, but being kind can be a weakness for him because he can be too nice and not stand up for himself when something goes wrong.. Being a Christian is a strength for Jack because he knows that Jesus died on the cross to save him and everyone else and he can use this characteristic to spread the word of God to everyone he meets, but being a Christian can also be a weakness for Jack because there are people in the world that discriminate Christians and could try to lead Jack down the wrong path. Being calm is one of Jack’s strengths because he is able to handle uncomfortable situations very well and, but being calm can also be a weakness for him because he could not recognize when things aren’t the greatest and could end up struggling when times are tough. Being quiet can be a strength of Jack’s because he is not constantly interrupting other people, being straight up annoying, or discounting other people, but being quiet can also be a weakness because it can give off an impression that he is shy and doesn’t want to be bothered.

Based in the following citation “the bullying takes a special breed of person to cause pain to others, but the one most hurt by bullying is the bully himself- thought that’s not at first obvious and the effects worsen over the life cycle” (Marano) we can conclude that this citation applies at the situations of Stephen king’s book for example the bullying that suffer Carrie when she was a child because her religion was different and her classmates make jokes and laughing about her beliefs causing insecurities in Carrie; this did that with the time she had
In The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, bullying is the normal thing for someone to do. Bullying is unwanted or unneeded actions or words that are said or done to hurt someone and their feelings. They may make the bully feel powerful and make the victim feel unsafe. Some bullying may be online and other times face to face. Kids are affected in different ways.

He is a born leader who carries out his concerns over various problems, however the abusive use of power leads him towards the evil path.
