Across the United States there are many fast food chains in just about every town, this would include the popular chicken fast food restaurant, Chic Fil A. In many places Chic Fil A is held to a high regard as a restaurant in the fast food industry. Its unrivaled service is considered the best among all restaurants in America; from the employee’s willingness to be polite as well as the fast service makes the chain an enjoyable place to visit for all. Along with its unmatched service, Chic Fil A has become popular at perfecting simple things such as chicken sandwiches, nuggets and other chicken based dishes as well as seasonal drinks and milkshakes. The article explains that consumers were now looking for a more tasteful meal rather than convenience and a lower cost; these factors were the most important factors in this report. With an 8 out of 10 Chick-Fil-A placed number one among the chicken category for taste. The restaurant that placed behind Chick-Fil-A, El Pollo Loco, placed with a 7.7. At the end of the report a difference of 0.4 was considered to be a meaningful difference in taste. In another taste test done by Business Insider in August of 2016 included chicken sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A, burger King, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Arby’s, KFC and Wendy’s. At the end of the article author Hollis Johnson included a summary of each chicken sandwich and which one was preferred by most. Chick-Fil-A along with one other chain topped the list. Chick-Fil-A’s sandwich was described as “An elegant simplicity surrounds this sandwich: bun, chicken, pickle. It’s a humble sandwich with little pretense.” And “simple, modest, classic sandwich is almost always a winner and pleases even the pickiest of palates”

In the article the author, Ryan Sutton complained that the chicken “didn’t taste like a whole lot” and that “Chick-Fil-A’s chicken has too much salt, not enough fat, and very little crunch.” Sutton continued with a taste test of certain menu items offered at Chick-Fil-A. The best two items identified by Sutton were the Chicken Minis and the hash browns on the breakfast menu. Sutton then rate the Chick-Fil-A sandwich a 6/10, the waffle fries a 3/10, spicy chicken sandwich a 7/10, the nuggets and the chicken strips a 6/10 and the chicken sandwich salad sandwich a 3/10. Considering this test was only conducted by one person more research would be required to back that
