Although my mentee is different than me in some ways, we have found various ways to connect on other subjects. I have helped my mentee go from making C’s in all of her classes, to now being an honor roll student. We’ve worked each session on study skills, time management and organization. It has been so rewarding seeing her achieve all of her goals she has set for herself at the beginning of the year. Also, aside from grades and school my mentee struggles from a lot of changes that happens in their home.
Good Afternoon Erica, As you know I have worked here at the Cy-Fair campus for the past five years. I enjoy working with the staff and is always willing to help whenever possible. I have work hard to make sure that I am fulfilling my obligations to the students along with any other task that assigned to me. I enjoy my job and work hard to make sure that the Cy-Fair team is successful. What that being said I would like to ask if you could speak with Donna about her attitude towards me.
Getting to experience something you love to do daily to provide for your family is my idea of a dream career. Not to mention, when a family or friend of my own decides to add an addition to their family, I will not only get to share the excitement with them, I will be delivering the news to them personally. How rewarding would that
I was already in a scholarship program that requires a lot of volunteer hours, but I was mainly spending them elsewhere. Chi Omega not only gives me the opportunity to take part in activities on campus, but also helps me gain experience in helping plan events. Although all of the required events are somewhat daunting, I have so much enjoyed the busy whirlwind of this semester with my sisters. Also, getting involved with my community has been such a rewarding process. Whether it was volunteering at Abba’s Tables or helping with Make-A-Wish, my heart is full from giving back with my fellow Chi
Her son and my son are best friends and have been since a young age. She was also my friend before she became my supervisor. Whenever we are conversing during “business hours” we keep our discussion focused on work. After hours, we discuss our family, friends, and other topics that are personal. I perform my work requirements to the best of my ability and she always treats me like she would any other employee.
Often times, I would attend more than one event. It not only gave me a break from my stressful week, but also allowed me to bond with my floormates and other Rose residents. Most of my friends are from the Rose House. And when the SA position came to me, I thought what could be a better way for me to share my experiences as a transfer student to other students. I can perhaps advice other transfer students for the challenges they might face in their daily lives.
I am working on prioritizing my projects. Why should we hire you? You should hire me because I am a good candidate for this job, i realize you have other people who can also do this job but i have a passion for this job and do my best. I will always deliver my best work and am committed to my work. Tell me about a time you worked well under pressure At my previous job we were short staffed and had to get all our tasks done but we didn 't have enough people, and you know with working with people you cannot just forget some of the work and leave it for the next day.
I began my volunteering hours when I could, so that way I knew I would have a lot of time to finish them. My family have always encouraged me to improve as a man, and volunteering truly fits into that classification. As I keep getting more established, I now realize that helping other people truly makes you feel better about yourself as it serves to develop a sense of empathy for others. Volunteering has impacted me since I realize that when I help other people out, it lights up their day, and they truly appreciate getting assistance from another person that thinks about them. There have been numerous impacts that
As of today I am consider as a transactional and a transformational leader because in work I just go to work and make money do what I have to do, but there are sometimes that I must go above and beyond so that our clients that hired us will be satisfied with the work. Same goes for school but I am more of a transformational leader because I do my school work like everyone else, yet I give my time to help my classmates to understand material or I include more things in my work than others. This is why I am considered a transformational and transactional leader because of my actions, and while this is my current leadership model I want to become more of a adaptive leader. The reason I want to become an adaptive leader is because it is part of
Personal fulfillment, a flexible schedule, making proper connections, and just enjoying life have always been something I’ve strived for, but have never been above money in my personal hierarchy. As much as I still adore that plan, my mind, like most things, went through a small altercation. When I first attended Kirkwood this previous fall, I landed a work-study position working for the Boy’s & Girl’s Club of Cedar Rapids. I was assigned to Hoover elementary. Like any other job, I was provided a schedule.
