What Is In-N-Out Burger Overhyed Analysis

Burger joints are everywhere in the United States however few have the appeal that In-N- Out offers. In the article, Great American Bites: Is In-N-Out Burger overhyped? By Larry Olmsted the author goes into detail pertaining to the Fast food chain known as In-N-Out. He claims that the In-N-Out is an over hyped product that is of low quality and has a boring menu.
Firstly, the author discusses how In-N-Out is an over hyped product with nothing to show for all the fans the restaurant has. Olmsted states “The food: Despite its very passionate loyal following, the actual burgers at In-N-Out are not especially good. The very basic, thin fast-food patties housed in generic buns are nearly identical to those at McDonald 's or Burger King.” (Olmsted 1). I don’t agree with the author of the article when he states this. Being an avid fan of In-N-Out I believe that they are by far the greatest fast food restaurant in the Unites states. Being an active food enthusiast myself I have traveled across the nation and have concluded that the In-N-out burgers are by far the greatest burgers ever. I believe that the amount of fans the restaurant has speaks for itself no restaurant chain would have such a fandom if they weren’t doing something right. He goes into detail on how the burgers taste no different to that of other restaurants the shakes have a synthetic taste and the fries are almost cooked to point they taste almost burnt (Olmsted 1). Although I love the restaurant I must agree on some aspects of the author writing the review. Not everyone is going to like everything just like anything In-N-Out is no different the individual is either going to fall in love with the chain or they are going to hate it.
