Since childhood, I have been certain I want to pursue a career in healthcare, but I was uncertain which one. From the moment I started school, I was infatuated with science. The love I continue to hold for the subject grew as I was exposed to all existing disciplines, especially human anatomy and physiology. My first experience with the class began in eleventh grade. My teacher’s enthusiasm solidified my desire to pursue a healthcare career, but it was still unclear what path I was meant to take.

I am also interested in pursuing a master’s degree in nutrition to optimize my patients’ well-being. Additionally, I would love to hire a massage therapist in my practice to further serve patients and add to their care. I feel that my versatile skill set will allow me to treat the general population; however, I am particularly interested in treating athletes. As a former athlete and sports fan, I would argue that chiropractic care is essential for athletes because of the stressful physical demands they place on their structures. I will best serve my patients through advocacy, education, and building relationships. I will support and inform my patients about their medical decisions, empower them in their choices, and educate them on treatments and chiropractic care for longevity and optimal wellness.
