Ever since grade school, I was passionate about working in the field of medicine, and science. I enjoyed anatomy, medical spelling and terminology, and reading about the healthcare industry. Because of my passion for healthcare, I decided to to attend Health Sciences High. There, I was given the best opportunities, such as, medical internships and college health courses. My plans and goals had turned me into a mature young adult. Now that I have my mind set on my aspirations, I hope to practice the qualities needed to be a triumphant dentist and dental surgeon. Of course everyone wants success, wealth, and happiness in the future. Of course, I was a student that hoped to attend an accredited university, but in order to, I knew I had to get outstanding grades. I was a hard worker throughout high school, and tried my best every year. I was really motivated to take AP courses as a freshman, unfortunately my school only provided honors, but I found out later that it acted as a substitute, and was accepted just the same. I took advantage of anything they had handed to me. My priorities at this moment are maintaining an outstanding GPA all through high school, and promoting quality leadership in everything I do. I want to earn my way up to a good university and earn my degree, apply to an outstanding dental school and start my long years of residency that lie before me. One of my goals in the future is to help others in need for medical attention. It makes me happy when I see others happy. I want to give back to my community and help others so I can earn the respect that I’ve always wanted. My long and short term goals had shaped my aspirations and who I am as a person today.
