My ultimate goal is to become a dental hygienist. This fall coming up, I will attend Lenoir Community College to complete some of the prerequisites. Then I plan to enter the dental program at Wayne Community College by the next fall. When I gain acceptance in the Dental program I will work towards obtaining a certificate for dental assistant.
Working with kids is what I enjoy the most. I work in a dental office as a dental assistant, and my job is to help all the patients get educated. My job is to explain to every patient that oral hygiene is very important. This implies to all ages, an oral hygiene routine takes two minutes to brush and floss your teeth at home. Since I really enjoy educating all patients, I would like to do more. To do more at my job it will be to become a dental hygienist. A dental hygienist is the professionals who clean your teeth when you go for your routine dental visit. Becoming a dental hygienist requires more training and school than it does to become a dental assistant. My goal in my life is to have a degree on what I enjoy the most. This degree will help me get a better job salary that can also benefit my family.

List the youth organizations where you volunteered and served while completing Parenting Skills? What benefits do you think you gained from your participation?
Where do you want to be five years from now? For the majority of high school seniors, this may be a difficult question to answer, but it is simple for me: I want to be in medical school. Through the health occupations program at Edwardsville High School, I have been exposed to the medical field and now I am certain that I want to become a doctor, so the Guaranteed Professional Program Admissions program at the University of Illinois at Chicago would be an amazing opportunity because it would take some of the uncertainty about the future away, so then I can focus solely on preparing for medical school.
Wayfinding is an art of navigation, practiced by polynesians and involves being observant of the surroundings around you. I realized Wayfinding is more about the journey, not the destination; just like life. Depending on your destination the harder it is to achieve, the greater the voyage will be. For example, traveling from Hawaii to Oahu can be compared to only aspiring to be a random co-worker in some unknown company. Unlike a voyage from Hawaii to Tahiti which can be compared to aspiring to be the President of the United States or an Astronaut in NASA. Those aspirations are much more far-reaching and the journey will be much more strenuous and difficult. A voyage to Oahu would be short, with most likely fair weather the entire journey. Just like life, it won 't take much to reach your goals if your aspirations are low. The more successful you want to be, the harder your journey will be.
I chose saint Mary’s Because I loved the location, the campus, and the opportunities it offers like the london program and the partnerships with the Mayo Clinic. Truth be told I did not look to hard at other colleges but if I did not get accepted into this school I
A nurse practitioner is a nurse with a graduate degree in advanced practice nursing. When I was little I always said I wanted to become a nurse practitioner. In many cases, students dislike going to school, especially if they have had a dreadful experience. Whether they have been bullied, having difficulties with their academics, or just plainly dissatisfied with what their school has to offer to them; nearly every student is struggling within the school system. However, a significant group of children located in the North Shore community are granted an amazing, one-on-one education at New England Academy. Fortunately, I was included and accepted into this selective group. The knowledge, skills, and opportunity that New England Academy has provided me, throughout my high school years, has impacted my way on how to approach the world for my transition into college and the vast, bright future ahead.
As an aspiring healthcare professional, I constantly seek the thrill of problem solving, especially from a scientific standpoint. One of my many interests includes a strong affinity towards the field of the unknown. With the plethora of opportunities granted to me over my high school years, I have been eager enough to explore the different realms of science and build a passion for medicine. A truly spectacular memory was the first time I set foot in an OR room. I still recall the pit of nervousness at the bottom of my stomach as I walked into the sterile room occupied with important people I hoped to be one day. My supervisor told me, “It’s your lucky day! You get to watch an open heart surgery!” Little did she know what was once a pit of anxiousness
Curiosity has always driven me towards new experiences. Early in my high school years i discovered a personal truth. I have no limitations other than those i choose to impose upon myself. I’ve always wanted to go to college, it’s been my dream ever since i was young, not only

Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution in which a neutral third party helps disputants resolve a conflict (Bishop, p. 64). The employee/supervisor mediation was my first experience role-playing as a mediator in a dispute. I enjoyed the experience and recognized how significant the role of a mediator was. There are many strategies/avenues a mediator can take when conducting a mediation and it is imperative that the mediator is able to adapt their mediation strategy in order to satisfy the party’s needs. This in-class role-play gave me the opportunity to apply all the knowledge that I learned during the course, to a real workplace scenario. I especially utilized Ewert’s five-stages of mediation, by preparing, introducing, framing the issues to the parties, determining the parties’ interests, and crafting solutions. Overall, I was extremely proud of the mediation and how passionate my disputants were.
Explicit plans in the first step will become futile if we do not take action. Merely hoping for chances does not help us get good outcomes. Whoever just waits for chances to knock their door is unlikely to reach success; therefore, taking action as well as working hard is the key for us to catch more
