Looking up the meaning of life in the dictionary, the best explanation I believe is that a person’s experiences during their life; the activities that form a particular part of a person’s life. Life is just a unique thing for everyone that we need to experience continuously, a road to walk continually and a problem to overcome constantly. During this process, we have many roles, which is important and changeable. Maybe one day I am a daughter, a student, a parent or a member of the society. Not everyone is lucky in this world with great parents to care for them. People may not always know how great their parents are and take them for granted. A good parent is someone who will you whenever you need them and will love you no matter the situation. Parents may not always agree with your actions or words but they will love you unconditionally through any bad choice you make. According to Webster, life is “an organismic state characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, and reaction to stimuli”. Certainly true from a biological standpoint, life is far more than a scientific observation. Life is a gift from God. All human life is made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and being “in Him” is what gives us our being (Acts 17:28). This is what provides our existence with meaning and purpose.
