As I grew up my friends all got their own trampoline so no one really came over anymore. One day as the sun was about to go down, I was all alone playing on my trampoline when my older brother and his friends came over to my house and got on the trampoline. They all started jumping on and I was on it as well. I thought I was tough since they couldn’t make me fall but, one wrong step and that was end to the fun. I had sprained my ankle.
Kirby invented the Kirby Pendulum System which used a compound drum and allowed a performer to be raised and lowered by a single operator. Kirby Flying rose to prominence in 1904 when they were employed on a new play, in London’s West End, ‘Peter Pan’ by J.M. Barrie Kirby was tasked with creating a new, sleeker design for the harnesses that had previously been used were bulky and complicated to attach and detach from the performer. Kirby created a “revolutionary harness that not only allowed for complex movements, but could also be connected and disengaged from the flying wire within a matter of seconds” This mechanism was so believable that Barrie had to re-write the play to include the use of pixie dust to enable flight, in order to dissuade children in the audience form attempting flight
According to “How Humans Deal With and Survive Extreme Cold” ,by Paul Ward, in the cold with no protection and with the condition Victor’s creation was already in his cells should’ve died due to the blood flow loss and should’ve resulted in at least severe frostbite. However in the story nothing ever happens to Victor’s creation and he is perfectly fine. “ A naked person will start to feel cold if the surrounding temperature drops below around 25°C (77°F). Physiological responses such as shivering and diverting blood away from the extremities and surface of the skin will then kick in.” The warmest
After all, he left behind the 2 best chutes! He chose the beginner chute (Katz). Considering this, there was no way he survived a jump like that. In fact, the most experienced divers would not even attempt the jump he did (Jones). Furthermore, everybody they believed to be suspect, is proven wrong by scientific tests (Katz).
In “Fatal Coasting Accident”, the accident itself was literally unexpected. Unfortunately, Hazel Crosby crashed the sled, but nobody wanted that to happen. She just happened to lose control of the sled because the sled was going down the hill extremely fast. On the other hand, the accident in Ethan Frome intentionally happened. The standing issue was that the accident didn't happen the way that they wanted it to.
Trying to get Mattie all the way out of the pit, Rooster attempted to put her on his back and climb out, but he could not. “He tried to climb the rope hand over hand with his feet against the sides of the pit but he made only about three pulls and had to drop back down. Our combined weight was too much for him” (213). Had Rooster been a perfect hero, like Superman, he would have been able to pull Mattie all the way out of the ditch. Unfortunately, it would have made the story unrealistic because no human can pull themselves, plus another person on their back out of a pit.

In Dead Poets society, the kids snuck out of at night which was not allowed by Weldon and went down into a cave. In the Separate Peace the kids from Devon went and jumped from a tree which they were not permitted to do. The was used for military training for the soldiers. However, the kids did not get in trouble like the kids from the Dead poets society because they had Phineas who talked the teachers out of getting them in trouble in some smart way. Doing something illegal was not just the only similarity between the two stories.

In addition, circus animals put human lives at risk and are abused on a daily basis. Although supporters of circuses argue that circus animals receive necessary veterinary care, many circus animals die due to neglect each and every year. Defenders of circuses claim that “Under federal regulations, sick elephants must get prompt medical care and a veterinarian 's okay before performing” (Nelson). Supporters of circuses dont see the harm of using circus elephants because there are laws that enforce circuses to give sick elephants veterinary care. However, it is very rare that the circus trainers abide to these guidelines.
