The person to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death is Friar Laurence because he kept their secret and helped them be together. He was also the one who married them in hopes of ending the feud between the Capulets and Montagues. He also made many mistakes that caused his plan for Romeo and Juliet to go wrong. He trusted someone to deliver a note of great importance to Romeo, gave potion to Juliet, and he fled Juliet’s tomb instead of trying to help her. All of these mistakes would not have happened if Friar thought out his plan a little more. Friar Laurence is at blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death because he made many mistakes that he could have avoided himself.
