Will Your Dog Join in the Holiday Festivities Tomorrow?
For many people--like my family--including the dogs in holiday trips and festivities isn't optional. Where we go, they go. That means we must be prepared to meet our dogs' needs while we are away from home:

We remind family members that the dogs are not allowed to beg for food from the table and shouldn't be given any scraps. When dinner is announced, we give the dogs their Kongs and they settle in the living room, far from the dining room table.
6. Pay attention to your host's holiday decorations. Common holiday plants such as poinsettias, mistletoe, holly, amaryllis, narcissus & fir trees are all toxic to your dog. The degree of toxicity depends on the plant and the amount ingested. Check the ASPCA's toxic plant page, which comes complete with photos, for the complete list. Other decorations such as tinsel, glass or Hallmark-type ornaments, artificial trees and garland, and even the wrapping paper, ribbons, and bows used to decorate gifts may pose threats to your dog's health if ingested.
7. Watch for signs that your dog needs a potty break. If the dog is in an unfamiliar area, his potty training may break down. When in doubt, give your dog the opportunity to go outside once an hour. Set the alarm on your cell phone as a reminder if needed. It's better to excuse yourself to take your dog outside, than to apologize for an accident

Dogs are man 's best friends, but that does not mean they should go everywhere with us, especially our workplace. Dogs can cause bad things if we allow them in our workplace. Also, it is against city law to let your dog off its leash on public property. These factors make it almost impossible to get your dog the proper amount of exercise, which is vital to a dog 's mental and physical health. The ASPCA has said that dogs that do not get the required amount of exercise have behavioral issues such as barking and destroying things within their homes. A dog park would prevent this from occuring by providing dogs with the proper amount of exercise among other things.
A dog can be very intimidating, especially with its loud bark. If anyone tries to hurt the disabled, the dog’s bark can be a warning to stay away. Relationships can also form bonds between dog and owner. Because dogs are with its owner almost 24/7, they offer companionship to its owner. It's our job as the handler to make time to learn about how our dogs think and behave and what their basic needs are so we can provide them with all the best tactics. Dogs give us everything, so let's give that energy right
Do you think that workplaces should allow their employess to bring their dogs with them to work? In my opinion, I believe they should be allowed to bring their k9 companions with them to work. Dogs are believed to help people experience a sense of well being, and also lower stress and anxiety. Also, I believe that dogs would make us happier in our workplaces, and help us to get more work accomplished in a shorter amount of time. There are those people who are aginst bringing their dogs with them to work.
Praise good behavior, but don’t penalize bad behavior and accidents. While you 're training, don’t worry if there are setbacks. As long as you continue a management program that includes taking puppy out at the first sign he needs to go and offering him rewards,
