The Holocaust was a systematic persecution and murder of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi’s from 1933 to 1945. The Germans believed they were “racially superior” and that Jews were “inferior”, they were a treat to the German racial community. Gypsies, people with mental and physical disabilities, and poles were also targeted or decimation for racial, ethnic, or national reasons. Theodor Geisel, who drew editorial cartoons under the pen name “Dr. Seuss,” was outraged by the news from France and decided to use his cartooning skills to help publicize the plight of the Jews. Dr. Seuss’s wartime cartoon showed discrimination against Jews and called attention to the early stages of the Holocaust.

He intended to kill Jewish people because himself and the Nazis believed that,”... the Jews were responsible for huge events like losing World War One and the economic crisis,” which happens to be incorrect but so many people believed them (“Why”). Because of his reasons, he wanted to imprison Jewish people.
Killing Centers; An Undesirable Creation of Death. World War II started when German soldiers entered Poland on September 1, 1939. When Germany invaded Poland, Britain and France took charge on Germany on September 3 (Killing Centers). The Holocaust was a state- sponsored prosecution of millions of Jews led by Adolf Hitler in January 1933. When The Nazi’s took power in 1933 they thought that they were racially superior and Jewish people weren’t (Introduction To The Holocaust).
Adolf Hitler and the Nazis passed laws and legislation that helped implement the Holocaust by creating special legislation that benefit the Nazis, affecting and breaking down the minorites, and eventually being able to mass murder these minorities in concentration camps. More specifically, Jews and Gypsies. Some of their methods were creating propaganda to throw dirt, guilt and shade on the Jews and Gypsies, create laws or legislation that prevented the minorities from doing much and stripped them of their natural rights, and even advancing the technologies of their methods to systematically mass murder the minorities. All three methods were used to implement the Holocaust. I will focus on the legislation created against minorities because this will clearly present how the Nazis were able to commit murder without penalty in Germany.

When rising to power, Hitler 's main focus was to blame the Jews for the variety of problems Germany was facing at the time. The German people would accept the anti semitic claims and would start to create a deadly reaction against the European Jewish community. The Nazis believed that Jews were the problem, and it needed to be solved by removing them. The mass killings of the Holocaust were what Hitler called "The Final Solution".
On June 7, 1998, A 49-year-old man James Byrd Jr. of Texas received a ride home from three white drunk men. Instead of them taking him home they beat him severely, urinated on him, chained him by his ankles to the back of a pickup truck and dragged him for more than three mile along an asphalt road into and a secluded country area east of the town where they dumped his headless torso in front of an African American cemetery. Over a year later, a jury sentenced Lawrence Russell Brewer to death by lethal injections in the state of Texas. On the other hand, the other two suspects John King remains on death row and Shawn Berry was sentenced to life imprisonment. This is one case that led to the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr.

One of the most notorious events in all of history is the Holocaust, which took place during World War II. Every tragedy begins with something, or in this case someone, and this was commenced by a man by the name of Adolf Hitler. Hitler stepped into a powerful role in Germany, and at about that time he began this lengthy period of horror. He had a goal for his time of rule; execute all of the Jews in Europe, and he did just about that by murdering two-thirds of their population. Hitler thought of the Germans as a more superior race than the Jews.
Everyone has experienced some type of hate in their lives. The Holocaust is one of the biggest and most racially motivated events in history. Hitler, the leader of the holocaust, took it upon himself to try and gather as many people from the Nazi party together to end the Jewish ethnicity. Millions were killed and left without families and friends. Hitler influenced how many people acted and who jewish people live today.
The statement “The Holocaust was the most evil crime ever committed” is true. From the years of 1940 - 1945 “the Germans and their collaborators had murdered six million European jews” (www.ushmm.org). Under the dictionary definition for evil it reads “profoundly immoral and malevolent” both words which describe the holocaust. The extremes the people who committed the atrocities during WWII as to complete Hitler’s Final solution went completely away from the principals of being right. The acts they did on those people were vile and violated each and every innocent person 's human right, making it extremely evil.
Because of the struggling and poverty of Germany, the people knew that what they needed was a leader, a strong leader who could pull them out of the pit that the German people had fallen into. Maybe they underestimated the power of such a leader. Adolf Hitler was known to be a great speaker. He spoke of change. He promised a better Germany and a better life for the people living there.
We all know that Jewish people were the main targets in the Holocaust, but not many people know that other groups and races. Some groups that were killed are but not limited to: disabled people, LGBTQIA+ people, Roma Gypsies, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Polish People and people of African descent. While Jewish people should be recognized for their struggles, so should every other group. Disabled People Hitler didn’t want to have any disabled people in Nazi Germany. He thought that they were too much work and overall useless to society.
“A major priority of the Nazi Party was to eliminate racially inferior groups in Germany and across Europe. Discuss how and why they did this” The Nazi part prosecuted many racial and social groups during their reign from 1933-1945. The Nazi party followed their beliefs that there was a superior race called the Aryan race and used Charles Darwin’s theory of Social Darwinism to prosecute these groups. In this essay I will discuss the prosecution of the Jewish people, the homosexuals and the gypsies (Roma) and how and why they did this.
The Nazi party normalized antisemitism and hate speech. That created ethical issues and dilemmas for the German community. Moral dilemmas of this nature are destructive as they can change someone’s life for the worst. Enabling hate speech and other forms of abhorrence made killing innocent people acceptable. Hitler implemented harsh policies that led to World War II and the mass murders of Jews.
