The fish are then eaten very slowly, usually one at time. However Carousel feeding has only been documented in the Norwegian killer whales and some dolphins who live in the ocean. Sharks can also be the part of this whale’s diet. Killer Whales may herd them to the surface and strike them with their tail flukes. Killer whales can induce in sharks and rays
The dolphins weigh about a hundred or more. The killer whales weigh about seven thousand five hundred pounds. These sea creatures have same diets. Both animals eat small fish, but the dolphins eats baby penguins. The dolphin and the killer whale sometimes eat sea creatures.
(Blackfish). Killer whales in the wild are aggressive towards each other just as they are to humans, in 1989 an accident involving two whales: Kandu and Corky resulted in Kandu bleeding to death. (Kirby 2) this would have never happened if the whales had the enough space they needed to separate from each other. Contrastingly, killer whales in the wild are more peaceful toward each other and humans. There is only one accident of an orca biting someone in the wild.
Are you afraid of sharks? Because I am terrified of them. Weirdly enough this short story has nothing to do with sharks. This short story is called The Truth about Sharks written by Joan Bauer. It was an early morning when Beth got woken up by her alarm. It was her Uncle Al’s birthday party and beth needed to get pants. When Beth got to the mall she walked by Madge P. Groton the stocky, ugly security guard. Beth started to try on pants when she went to get another size and that when the trouble started. When she went to look for pants the security guard thought she was stealing and called the cops. When the cops arrested her she said she had evidence to show the cop that she didn´t steal. When she showed the cop the helper in the store and
The bottlenose dolphin has made adaptions for its need for energy, need to reproduce, predation, and abiotic environmental factors. There are three adaptations for abiotic environmental factors. The first one is that the bottlenose dolphin will rapidly emerge from the water to dive back in as a way to save energy so they can swim faster. They also just do this for pure fun. It is common for dolphins to have a limited amount of motion but because the bottlenose dolphin only has two out of seven neck vertebrae fused, it provides them more flexibility at the neck. They are also covered in dense blubber. This blubber helps them stay warm in cold sea levels. There are two adaptations that these dolphins have made to help their need for energy. Dense
Hammerhead sharks are carnivore because they eat meat much as fish species. They will eat fish to regain their energy because they use most of it swimming. They also use energy by using their sense of smell that allows them to detect blood. When a shark reaches a point when they can’t use any more energy, they will go deep into the ocean and stay there. Their preys won’t spot them as easily when they are deep in the ocean.
The Great Hammerhead Shark There are many animals in the world that are endangered. One of them is the Great hammerhead shark . These sharks have flat, T-shaped heads that make them stand out from other sharks. They are long and flat in order to aid in the catching of prey. The eyes of these sharks are wide-set.
There’s a place in the world that they feed bull sharks, because when they do for the sharks they do not have to hunt. When they are full they do not hurt people. Bull sharks are just looking for food, and when they are fed they are really cool animals. Bull sharks are cool animals, here are some facts. They are fond all around the world, and they are found near shore lines.
Have you ever come face to face with a huge great white shark? I bet you haven’t! In the short story, The Truth about Sharks by Joan Bauer. Focus question: To cull or not to cull great white sharks Great white sharks are the biggest predatory fish in the ocean and they can grow to about 15 feet in size, although larger than 20 feet have been seen. Their name comes from the white underbellies of the sharks and their bodies are designed to blend in with the seabed. The great whites have powerful tails which makes them excellent swimmers that can travel up to 24 km/h. They have many rows of triangular shaped teeth and have a great sense of smell and even their body can sense electromagnetic fields produced by animals. They mainly eat sea lions, small toothed whales and sea turtles.
Although the orca can be found in both in the open ocean and in the coastal waters, they primarily inhabit the continental shelf’s in the water less than 200 meters deep. In the cold water area is the most distribution limited by the seasonal pack ice. The killer whale is the top carnivore consumer on the food web. Killer whales may be large in size and appetite, but they still act on instinct and have no desire to kill intentionally. The killer whale is also a very playful and intelligent creature like most dolphins are, therefore they do not deserve the name killer whale.
To begin with, I am against whale captivity. I will be telling you three thing and then how I feel about them. So I hope you are ready to listen. LET 'S GO!!!!

1. 90-100 million tons are killed and wiped off the planet each year. Consisting of some of the most beautiful creatures on the planet. Fish are a primary food source to 3.5 billion people worldwide and the depletion of the species is leaving millions of people hungry. Over fishing is a huge problem that needs to be stopped.
Wondering why animals act a certain way is possibly a question that can never be answered correctly. Asking why animals act a certain way in an environment though, now that may be a question that can be answered! It has become a proven fact that animals act differently in every different environment and around every different animal or person. For instance, take a lion that is being taken from his home environment to a zoo. Of course, that lion is going to act up before he gets used to his environment because of different reasons like the space, or the other animals, or the food and even the training. Many different aspects of the environment will affect this lion's behavior.
