I am going to share with you some of the best players that have played football in Penn State. There have been lots of Penn State alumni that have done great things in the Nfl. I am going to tell you about some of those players. Also lots of these players that I have mentioned have had great careers at Penn State. One of the best football players from Penn State to play in NFL is Franco Harris. He was in 9 probowls and won four super bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Also he was the MVP of a Superbowl and was Defensive rookie of the year. He won the 1976 Walter Payton Man of the year award which is a very hard award to get. He finished his career with 100 touch downs and 12,120 rushing yards and is in the hall of fame. He is arguably one of the best running backs in NFL history. (McGuire, 2012) …show more content…

He made one of the most memorable plays in Penn State history during the Penn State vs. Ohio State game in 2005. He has two pro bowl selections and an all pro selection. He currently plays with the Chiefs and has recorded 348 tackles and 53.5 sacks which is the fourth most in Chiefs in history. He created lots of great plays at Penn State and has made lots of good plays in the NFl. (McGuire, 2012) A linebacker from Penn State that had a great career in the NFL in Jack Ham. Penn State’s nick name is “Linebacker U”. Jack Ham played 12 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and won four super bowls. He is an eight time pro bowler and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He is a all-time great and the best linebacker that has went to Penn State. (Press) Mike Munchak is the best offensive lineman from Penn State. He played 12 seasons with the Houston Oilers. He is a nine-time Pro Bowl selection and is in the Hall of Fame. He is a former coach of the Tennessee Titans and is now the offensive line coach of the Steelers.
