In these days, children invest a majority of their time being included in their school life. Their life has turned out to be very examination-oriented. They don’t only attend school as most kids did in the past, they also attend various tuition classes and extracurricular activities (Earthquakeduck, 2009). As a consequence, they are unable to perform their best in academics as they have reduced free time with family and increased stress. Children have turned out to be so 'over-booked' they have even less available time than their parents. A mix of homework, after school clubs, extra-curricular academic responsibilities is abandoning them with no extra time to 'just be kids', asserts new research. This modern lifestyle have bring great influence on family life, mainly of parents and children. As discussed, the employment of both parents have led to behavior problems among the kids which also decrease their academic performance. On the other hand, the hectic schedule of children have made children to be too busy with their activities at school and after school. They turned up to be stressed and unable to seek attention from their parents which make the less productive in academic performance. Also, the usage of technology devices by both parents and children have occupied them to the extent that there is a loosen bonding in their relationships. This have also lead to a decline in children academic results. Although we can’t avoid following the lifestyle of recent days, it is possible for us to make adjustments so that we can reduce the negative outcomes in our relationships and life. Within a family, both parents and children should learn to give time and spend quality moments with each other every single day so that there is a balance in their lifestyle.
