Monasticism is the religious way of life which can be explained with different pharases: devoting life to God, infinite salvation, spiritually leaving the world, reach the solitary existence, religious experience, ascetic practice, intence solely relationship with God, or battle with inner demons. Monasticism, however originated in Egypt and Syria ( Blockmans, ), it was able to spread from the East into the West - Italy and southern Gaul in the fourth - seventh century. However monasticims overed the borders and changed outside its Egyptian homeland, in West it differed from the East one.
