This quote from the passage makes me think about the unhappy people Morrie is talking about. If an old man dying can be happier than them, then what must others do to help these unhappy people. Morrie has learned to deal with all of his problems, which included losing the ability to move his legs and live by himself.

I chose this quote because it sums Iris Murdoch into one little sentence. I used this quote mainly because it is how amazing one sentence can say so much but also say so little about a person. This would be a great sentence for any normal writer, bur Murdoch’s life was so eventful that it could never be simply summed up in a sorry sentence like that. When I read this line from Iris Murdoch’s literary work the first thing I thought was, wow this sounds like another author I previously read and did a Quote and Commentary. I cannot put a finger on this other writers name, I can recall that he talked about religion like it was just a master idea to control people.
This quote is very inspiring. This was just one example of how Morrie put everyone else before himself. Morrie is on death’s doorstep but, he manages somehow to care about the feelings and lives of others more than his last months. This teaches me that a lot of things can make people feel good.
Hi Peeps, Today 's Quote "I enjoy learning, listening, thinkings, growing, chewing, processing, and crunching God 's Biblical Data to then scientifically study how truthful this information exist and works in my heart, mind, body, and soul, which clearly describes and musically pictures how the cogs of habitat work together in our world for our Good!" ~Jon Barnes Learning I personally discovered my chemical balance and optimal state of learning and competing with myself, during a music competition in middle school, with my teacher Dave Hariston. He said, eat a big breakfast and come to school ready to win this competition. It turns out for me that my belly was full but my mind was asleep, like I had been drugged.

But later on throughout the passage Grete does not care about Gregor anymore and starts to change her behavior, also she starts reforming as “It” and not her brother. “We must try to get rid of it,’ the sister now said decisively to the father, for the mother, in her coughing fit, wasn’t listening to anything, ‘it is killing you both” (Kafka pg 85). In this quote shows that Mr. Kafka believes that even your family members who takes

A famous psychologist called, Abraham Maslow, once said ; “When the only tool you have is a hammer, all problems begin to resemble nails”. This quote has a huge relation on TOK ( Theory of Knowledge), however how does Abraham’s quote apply to the ways of knowing in the pursuit of knowledge? The quote applies to one specific way of knowing which builds a limited pursuit of knowledge in an individual and his / her mind. Reason and perception. Before getting into depth, reason would be the explanation or cause of something.
So pity. That is why I am so jealous the author, that he was able to find his precious life teacher who loves him. I, also wish myself to find someone as Morrie, or if not, I want to be someone like him. I wish I could share my experiences with others as they could receive something from it, I hope I could become one who can influences others by somehow. Before I read this classic piece, my seniors said to me that they were really into it and
