Rebecca Funk December 11, 2015 Buck Period 3 Motocross Through The Ages Dirt bike riding is dirt bike riding, right? Not quite. There are actually many different types of riding. There is Supercross, Trial Riding, Enduro Riding, and Motocross. My family has been around Motocross since before I was born. It’s a great way for all of us to get our frustrations out, bond, and just have a good time. Motocross has been a favorite pastime for people around the world since 1924. The Motocross season is a 4 month long season with 12 races, that starts right after Supercross ends, normally in late May. Motocross was introduced to America in 1972. The first annual AMA Motocross Championships were held then, taking place in the Los Angeles Coliseum.
