My Zombie, Myself
Me: Joshua, seriously, you need to get over yourself.
Josh: I can't! I can't believe that they would do something like this to me! It was only one assignment! How was I supposed to know that it was due yesterday?
Me: Don't worry to much man, its only one week, only one zombie.
Josh: One what??
Me: Zombie. You know like a problem or conflict you have to deal with. Life is full of them. Its one big extended metaphor I saw in an essay in AP the other day.
Josh: (unsure) Uh okay?
Me: So you know what Zombies are?
Josh: Yeah they are ones in the video games I play, like Plants v. Zombies and Call of Duty: Zombies.
Me: Sure! And what do Zombie's love to do?
Josh: Devour brains and human flesh.
Me: Lovely. But theoretically, yes. Like Zombies in your video

Mom: Actually yes, quite often.
Me: Well I was reading this essay in AP the other day and it really got me thinking.
Mom: Yeah? What was it about?
Me: It was titled: Emily Dickinson and Elvis Presley in Heaven. It was about Elvis and the famous poet, Emily Dickinson and how they both were in heaven together as friends.
Mom: Aren't they from total different time periods?
Me: Yeah thats why I thought it was weird. But they acted like they knew each other the whole time they were alive.
Mom: Huh. That is weird.
Me: Whats more is that they were both so young when they were in heaven. Both Dickinson and Presley were at least in their mid forties to mid fifties when they died.
Mom: Yeah I believe Dickinson was fifty-six and Elvis was forty-two. I was three when he died.
Me: Wow. I mean I guess in heaven everyone must be fairly young at least look like it when they are in heaven.
Mom: That makes sense. I mean that's how I've see heaven to look like. People when they were at their best health and happiness.
Me: Yeah also the whole idea of how they are from different times doesn't seem to bother
“There is nothing I wouldn’t do for my friends. If you think that you can out-zombie me, think
Presley decided to serve as a regular soldier. This earned him the respect of many of his fellow soldiers and people back home who had previously viewed him in a negative light. During his service, Presley’s life was affected in many ways, beginning with the death of his mother. Not long before he was to be stationed in Germany, Gladys Presley died of a heart attack brought on by acute hepatitis and cirrhosis at age 46. When he was stationed in West Germany, he met his future wife Priscilla Beaulieu and became dependent on stimulants and barbiturates.
He recently said that the next season will have something which fans did not see coming at any point during the cliffhanger finale.
The principal of Heilig High School where I attended was a woman in her forty named Joana Fahrenheit. Though she was already in her forty, her appearance was still quite good. I didn’t say she looked too young for her age. If anything her face really matched that of a woman in her forty with few wrinkles, probably because of her role as principal.
I replied. “Of course.” he said as he came up to me, seeing the beam that pinned me down. “What's the point of all those push ups if you can’t lift a bloody log?”
“Where do they live?” “They used to live in Cinderwoods, but they died when I was young.” She tilts her head to one side. “Oh, how unfortunate.”
“But, you don’t know that.” I replied. “That’s the point Evie, anything can happen,” said my dad as he chimed into the conversation. “Your father’s right,” said my mother.
Perhaps one of the most over done character in popular culture, zombies are a common figure in film and literature. The use of the zombie character provide for several metaphors that can be read in many ways, without limits. Some think that they represent our economy or politics. A common theme is the failure of the American government and social institutions which is seen in the ever so popular television show, “The Walking Dead”, (Darabont, 2010) Broadly speaking, this essay will look at two ways this metaphor of the zombie character can be interpretated.
“Alright guys it is time to move down further into the body and start on his abdominal muscles”. After 12 days of living in Chris’s body we are finally making some progress. We have immobilized his jaw, shoulders, neck and leg. My army burrow in further into the tissue more space as me multiply. I begin to think that we have it all under control in taking over Chris’s body.
"You are kidding! " The girl said angrily, studying him with a long gaze. "I don’t." He answered. "I can show you my mini rewards that I always carry with me."
I got up and got ready to greet her. When she walked through the door I gave her the usual hug and she asked me how my day was. Like always I gave the response “It was good.” When six o’clock came my dad pulled into the driveway. We all sat down for dinner and ate like usual.
“Gosh, you're weird,” he muttered, rolling his eyes. “I’m weird? You're the one who's dead.” I said in a cheeky tone. “I think I am very much alive.
I lay on my bed, tears rolling down my face looking at an old photo of my mom, my dad knocks on the door and enters the room, “Are you ok?” he asks looking at the tears rolling down my cheeks, “You miss her don’t you?” I nodded my head “I do too son I think about her
