Pain. Plight. Panic. Punishment. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the deadline approached. Only the student’s mind, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the procrastinators needed it most, it vanished. Procrastination is a form of art that has been passed down through many generations and it usually starts at a young age. However this form of art can be very dangerous in many real-life situations. This is an issue that many people’s lives have suffered from once and it should be discussed more in schools. All of us students have been in Spongebob’s situation before. You might be wondering what the heck does this have to do with my speech? So what do Spongebob and us North Hills students have in common? No, not because we’re energetic, or we panic over the tiniest things. But we all have been in that situation of procrastination. Remember that episode where Spongebob was assigned an 800 word essay on what not to do on a stoplight. Spongebob tries to get on task however he gets distracted every time he tries to start on his essay and he continues to delay himself with other tasks that are not as important. He finally starts to panic and finally start on his essay and finishes it at the last minute. This episode was in fact called “Procrastination.”So What Is procrastination?
