It is very hard to work in an industry that you don’t know because you finished and studied a different one. Lack of choice and option is the problem here. You just have to do it because you need a job. If you would not work, and you would just wait for the time for you to work in the industry that you really want. Then, you would not have anything for a living.
We have many forms of music and sounds accordingly with different cultures and ethnics. We have various genres of music but still we have our own type of music which shows or reflects our identity and tradition. For instances gurung music, newari music, kirat music and so on is some of the sounds which showcase their own culture and traditions. I come from a place where we have lots of gurung communities so I have bit more familiar with this culture which shows its own unique culture while performing or being heard. Before they used to be at primitive places but slowly they started to move out to cities and places where they can access with infrastructures and facilities.
1 RUNNING HEAD: POWER OF MUSIC 2 POWER OF MUSIC The Power of Music and Its Affect On a Human Being Heather Nakamoto University of Hawaii ? West Oahu Music 367 Professor Jay W. Junker A. TOPIC & GOAL The topic I have chosen to focus on for this research project is the healing power music has on a person?s soul. There is a lot of information out there on this subject and I will be focusing my writing on the book How Music Helps in Music Therapy and Everyday Life, the documentary Alive Inside, as well as a few other articles. Emotion and music seem to go hand in hand.
Music has impacted people on a local and global scale because it brings people of all ethnicity, age, and gender together to enjoy what music has to offer today. As humans it is also important to remember that we feel the same things whether it is sadness or happiness. We all know what it feels to be sad or happy, and music can make a difference in how we portray our feelings. Different types of music influence all cultures, but what is important that while they are being influenced that they don’t loose sight of whom they are. The reason I say this is because staying to who you are or keeping in touch with your culture keeps you from being you, which in turn creates your own style of music.
Discipline is important in the real world no matter where a person goes. There are some days where someone will not want to go to work, but if that person dug deep and found discipline, they can achieve more. The arts also help with time management. It is not enough to work a ton if a person spends half that time doing nothing. Sometimes, when preparing for a piece, a person in the arts will have only a week to fix multiple problems.
The first is cognitive theory. Cognition is "the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses". Therefore, cognitivist theory is that through music, listeners recognise certain expressive actions that correlate with the way people move, however they do not themselves feel it. If talking to someone who is agitated, for example, we react appropriately to their body language and movements, as we understand the feeling and emotion behind the movements and the expressions. This theory suggests that that’s what happens when listening to music; the volume, rhythm, melody, structure and pitch of music resemble the natural human expression of emotion in voice and behaviour, and so we react to music as such.
If you cannot control yourself and how you conduct yourself you will never go far in life. Here are some more reasons why people lack self-control: 1. Self-discipline isn’t inherent. It needs to be developed, strengthened and exercised. However, most people find it difficult to do so.
Overcoming adversity is never easy, especially when someone has been beat down multiple times before. Whether it be from a physical beat down of bodily struggle or a mental struggle, adversities and challenges can be defeated by knowing the right concepts. Many people everyday continue to overcome what hinders them and push through their challenges by having the right mindset and to deciding to try. A person trying to overcome something needs to have a strong backing to keep them motivated during slow times and tell them never to quit. After a person begins, they need to continue to have faith in themselves and also know that failure is part of the process and one can grow the most from it.
Some people are not happy with who they are. They end up doing senseless stuff to be in better shape. Some people become anorexic just because they believe this can cause them to be in better shape. Some people start doing this because people start telling them things about their body. People act like bullies to others.
Since money is so important, many would strive towards the goal of earning as much money as possible. There is also a saying that goes, “the love for money is a root of all evil”. The desire for having lots of money may lead to wrongdoings. Hard work may not necessarily be the best way to become rich since many work hard but did not get rich. When one see how others are able to accumulate wealth over a short time, one may imitate what others have done by taking the shortcuts.
