PACE TECHNICAL PAPER ROUGH DRAFT This experiment was conducted in an attempt to have wooden baseball bats brought back to NCAA and high school and children’s leagues, too. The experiment idea was to set up a pendulum where the bat swung down and hit the ball in the same spot every time. Then I measured where the ball hit the ground.
During the experiment, observations were made of their color, mass, height, and width. This data shows percent mass change of the gummy bear and how the gummy bear was affected by the salt water. It also displays how the height and the width of the gummy bear changed because of the salt water, which made the gummy bear more compact. The more salt that was added to the distilled water, the more compact it was, however, if there was not a lot of salt in the mixture, it became large and fragile. The mass of the gummy bear was increased as a result of less salt being added with the distilled water.
One time I came across failure. It all started when playing in a baseball game for Serra High School. Up to that game we had been undefeated in league play. As the game moved along it got more and more intense. Every batter and runner on base you could tell both teams were completely focused on winning that game.

John Henry is presented as a ballad to be sung, whereas Hammerman was written as a story to be read. Hammerman was a black worker, in the 1870’s, who helped build the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. John Henry was born and raised to become a steel-driving man.
Rube Goldberg once said, “I wonder how anybody can think his personality changes with his success. I’ve had quite a bit of success but I feel that I am just the same person as I always was”. Rube Goldberg was such a successful man, many people have tried to recreate his inventions, using his same protocol. In the university of Harvard in 1961, legendary psychologist Albert Bandura conducted an experiment in which children watched as a woman interacted violently with an inflatable clown. After 10 minutes of watching this, the kids was put into an exciting room filled with toys that were soon taken away. This frustrating the kids and then the frustrated children was left alone with the inflatable clown. The study showed that the children who watched the clown get beat up by the women were much more likely to mimic her aggression, attempting to maul and punch the clown while kids who observed the woman play friendly with the clown either mimicked her kindness or completely ignored the clown.
