The People in the dystopian world wishes to have a better society like the modern society.
This is the best way to compare the dystopian society to the modern society because in the book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, the book talks about the government burning books because they think the books are going to hurt other people, while the modern society thinks that books help people and educate others. In the short film 2081 by Chandler Tuttle, When people are all exactly equal as each other and have no advantages unlike the modern we are happy how we are and we don’t care if someone is more intelligent. And the final book Dark Life by Kat Falls, People with special abilities are told and controlled where to go, But in this society the government bring people were they are told because of a crime. The three main topics were book burning, equality, and government bringing people somewhere for no reason or crime.

They used weights to make everyone have the same amount of strength and they used earpieces to make the intelligent people not have an advantage with their brains. They also in some cases had the beautiful wear masks to hide their beauty. But in the present day society the government don’t use weights to make the people have the same amount of strength or make the people have the same amount of intelligence.
