A Pressing Problem in America
Donald John Trump, the front runner for the Republican party in the 2016 election is a pressing problem for America today. Writing a paper portraying Trump as a social problem may seem like nonsense. Of course, how bad can he be if he has made billions of dollars? Trump’s stance on many of America’s current problems are at the least naive and at the most, downright terrifying. When taking a second look it is easy to see that Trump is a danger to the American people.
America should not trust Donald Trump, as he does not believe in civil liberties for all Americans. According to the New York Daily news, when Trump was first exploring the idea of running for president, he had an unsatisfying opinion. When Trump

However, according to Donald Trump, there is nothing to worry about because “climate change is a hoax”. How are any of the environmental organizations going to save the planet from global warming if the president of the United States does not believe in the problem’s existence? Not only that but international efforts as well. According to the Environmental Defense Fund, “The increased concentration of carbon dioxide in the ocean triggers a chemistry change that makes the water more acidic. The ocean is almost 40% more acidic than it used to be.” The American people deserve better than a president who is going to be indifferent as the earth turns into an inhabitable place for future …show more content…
Education is extremely important because it is the answer to all of the world’s problems. As cliche as that sounds, it is the truth, and America needs our next president, and quite frankly, a congress that understands that as well. As of June 2015, Donald Trump held the firm stance that, “The government should cut the Department of Education way, way down.” If Donald Trump was at least modestly informed he would know that the Department of Education aids America in many ways. Some of the department’s many jobs entail collecting data, overseeing research on America's schools, and identifying the major issues and problems in education and focuses national attention on them. When researching Trump’s stance on many of America’s problems, this stance seems to be the most frustrating. Cutting a department in charge of educating our children, and the future of this country, is a disgrace, and anyone that is mindless enough to vote for him is voting for America’s
Finally, and this is the most distressing fact about the Trump campaign is that even though all the beliefs and statements above could just be plain talk and not action as many politicians do and he himself has not hurt anyone yet physically; the news is filled with the pain his supporters have caused and yet Trump says nothing! Even when one of the former Republican Nominees John McCain was asked about the rumour that Obama is Muslim, he responded by saying “No ma’am he is a good Christian man, it is just that we disagree on the fundamentals.” When Trump is asked this however, instead he smiles and encourages the lie. Furthermore when it came to his attention that one of his supporters beat a homeless man who is from Mexico senseless and then continue to urinate on him; instead of denouncing them Donald Trump simply smiles and comments that his “Supporters are definitely passionate.” Overall it is imperative that we as a nation should stop Trump before it becomes even more dangerous as he, breaks the constitution, has eccentric ideas that cannot be implemented and encourages violence from his supporters.
According to reports, educators and school teachers are not happy with Trump’s future education system head and they are going to challenge his choice, cites Sunshine State News. Teachers are saying that Betsy DeVos is totally out of touch with the public school education system and is therefore not fit to run it. Not everyone agreed that DeVos is the right person to lead a new path for the United States Education System and for them, House
“Unfortunately, Mr. Trump is not interested in resolving a difficult problem if he can exploit it for political gain” This statement is delivered without any evidence or warrant build their logos. In addition, there is a lack of conciliatory language that impacts the tone and makes it seems like it is a fact while is actually a judgment they made. This impacts the logos and ethos and generates an ineffective and unsound argument. There is also a play on pathos in this statement created from the diction choice of “difficult problem” and “exploit”. Both of these emphasize mood but have a negative impact on pathos because they have a negative
Throughout the article, Continetti highlights many of the basic conservative principles as described in the presentation. “Trump had many of the qualities of a successful presidential candidate: charisma, a strong message, future-oriented policies, a call for peace through strength and a core base of support” (Continetti, 2016). While controversy and scandal did mare the Trump campaign’s conservative look, Continetti analyzes that it was Trump ’s larger than life persona that also helped to diminish his opponent’s liberal
USA today's editorial talks about the reasons that Trump is unfit to be the President of the United States. Trump is perceived as reckless, sexist, prejudiced, and not solid for combat terms. His erratic contradicting speeches show signs of inconsistency and prove wrong to be president. USA Today talks about how Trump has no evidence of how he can take on foreign policy issues in internationalism. Trump also shows lack of honesty as well, with his tax returns going through loopholes.
Body I) Donald Trump grew up in a middle class home not having more or less from anybody else. Now he is worth billions of dollars. A) In June Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president in the 2016 election. 1) Donald Trump should not become president for one his negative comments towards other races, especially on the Latino community.(Pathos) a) In the Huffington Post Carolina Moreno talked about Donald trump and his Anti –Latino remarks that cost him several business partners since his June campaign. b) In one of Trump’s speeches he began it by comparing Mexican immigrants to “rapists” and “killers”.
A big problem we have right now in the United States are the presidential candidates. A big threat to our country is Donald Trump winning the election. He is just an overall bad guy, he is racist and sexist. He said that if he wins, he will deport immigrants back to where they came from, which is really unthoughtful, especially since his wife is mexican. If Donald Trump wins the election and does all the things he said he would do, then the citizens of United States would definitely rebel against the government.
Many thinks, the US is a place full of oppertunities, a better life, jobs, innovation, but since, Donald Trump became the president of America , it is become hell for immigrants. The feeling of nationalism have been emerged by the speeches of Trump. In his campaign, Trump, always said about 'America first ' and 'We make America great again ', and always said the immigrants are wiping the jobs of American people. Hates crimes have been increased, since the Indian engineer Srinivas had been allegedly shot dead by a former US navy man, yelling ' get out of my country '.
Most of America is fed up with his ways already, and wants him impeached. Trump just can't be taken seriously at all. He is not fit to run our country at all, I think that he should be impeached due to his immaturity. According to Huffington Post he claimed a judge was biased because he was mexican Donald said ” He's just a mexican. “The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings — rulings that people can’t even believe.
As a nation, we need to band together and learn to just accept the fact that Donald Trump is our president, and realize that he is doing a pretty good job considering the fact that half the nation despises him. We need to make sure that we don 't start the Second
Donald Trump, the billionaire real-estate developer and television personality, has now added “presidential candidate” to his list of titles. Surprisingly, he is doing considerably well in the public polls. His recent popularity surge may be due to his lack of a filter, or perhaps it’s purely for the entertainment his spectacles create. Whatever the reason, I find it troubling that such a deplorable man is currently leading the GOP polls. Donald Trump would not be a suitable President of the United States due to his outspoken public prejudices against minorities and misogynistic tendencies.
This preference most likely stems from his business background with limited experience in governmental global affairs. Trump most accurately explains his position, “we will follow two simple rules: Buy American and Hire American. We will seek friendship and good will with the nations of the world, but to do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first” (Trump). Trump is not extending a helping hand to countries, but simply asking for friendship. This lack of American exceptionalism in his position support isolationist views.
Another statement about classrooms is they are “outdated”- as Johnson calls it. President Johnson says, “classrooms are overcrowded and curricula are outdated. Most of our qualified teachers are underpaid, and many of our paid teachers are unqualified,” to continue his argument that classrooms should alter more than just learning, but an excitement and place of freedom for children. Johnson goes on with his last concern that there is more involvement in the process of progress in classrooms. President
Imagine the United States in its near future: while a select few successful, affluent and influential people take power over the rest of the country and essentially control the way it operates domestically and internationally, the remainder of the population remains at a state comparable to the Great Depression in the 1930s, where unemployment rates are high, few unskilled jobs are available to the public, and the majority of urban residents are forced to rely on soup kitchens and live in shantytowns. The state of most United States schools today is absolutely atrocious, and should they continue to educate the modern generation of children and teens, a dystopian society is bound to arise in what is now considered one of the most powerful and
In my paper, I will analyse Donald Trump’s political activities before and after the election to get an objective viewpoint of America’s President. We’ll start off with the history of Trump, both personal and political, to see whether there was some sort of significant development over the years indicating a tendency towards ‘good or evil’. Next, we will take a look at what Donald Trump promised to do – the wall, lowering taxes and repealing Obamacare to name a few – and evaluate if he managed to keep his election pledges. This success rate is a major factor in definitively assessing Trump’s influence on America.
