Uranus Uranus, the first god of the sky and lord of the universe. We was born from the Chaos and Gaea. Chaos was pretty much nothing and Gaea was the goddess of the Earth pretty much mother nature. Uranus had 18 children 12 titans, 3 cyclopes, and 3 heratoncheires. His children were Cronus, Rhea, Hyperion, Mnemosyne, Themis, Coeus, Phoebe, Prometheus, Epimetheus, Metis, Oceanus, and Tethys. He didn 't like the cyclopes and heratoncheries so he locked them up in the middle of the earth which gave Gaea pain. So Gaea told her son to rebel a against him to stop him from her pain. Gaea was infuriated and created a diamond sickle, which she gave to Cronus, one of the Titans. Cronus found his father and castrated him in while he was asleep, from the blood that fell onto the earth, the Erinnyes, the Giants and the Meliads were made, while his sperm fell into sea, Aphrodite was created from the …show more content…
After all that Cronus became the ruler of the universe and sky. Now that Cronus one of Gaea 's and Uranus 's sons one of the most strongest sons went along and took control of Uranus to become the king of the sky. Uranus was not in early Greek paintings but Egyptian depictions of their sky-goddess Nut showed them how he was seen as a huge, star-spangled male with huge arms and legs, walking on both his hands and feet(all fours), with his fingers in the east, and his feet in the west, and his big body covered the entire earth to form the sky. In the Roman times he was often depicted as Aion, god of the infinite time, while being in form of a man grasping the zodiac-wheel, standing above the Earth. At the beginning of time there was just Chaos(Nothing), Nyx (Night), dark Erebos (Darkness), and a deep pit

Before there was light, there was the Ignis tribe, and in this tribe was Solis and Luz. Solis was a God but of no creation. As Luz was just a woman. Solis was the God of nothing because his time to be the God of anything had not yet surfaced. In the Ignis tribe in order to become the God of an item in the universe you had to wait until your twentieth birthday week, but only for people who had been descendants of former Gods.

Like other kinds of succession myth, Hesiod Theogony story tells how the gods came to be and how they established their kingdom in their own ways. Unlike to Uranus and Cronus, who failed to success, Zeus became permanent king of Olympus through his crafty tricks and wisdom. He showed better talent and characteristics than the other two predecessors when it comes to overcome their common destiny that their growing son defeats them and treat his fellow gods and children. As a result, Hesiod Theogony extols Zeus’s superiority to other gods and makes him stand out.
The topic that I choose to do my research on was Astronomy and the discovery of Uranus by William Hershel in 1781. This is a topic that fascinates me because I love learning about the planets and the rest of the universe. It 's a lot of fun learning about, so I decided to do some deep research on a specific planet and it 's discovery. I learned that Uranus was discovered by William Herschel in 1781. He discovered it by inventing a powerful telescope that he used to search for comets, stars, and other things out there in our universe.
Chaos is present everywhere in society. The idea of chaos is the idea of the uncertain and unpredictable. The idea of order is the idea of pattern and structure. Despite this fact, order is always present within chaos if you look for the underlying patterns. These patterns of chaos make it predictable and brings order to the idea of chaos.
After Rhea had given birth to Hades, Cronus had the fear that one of his sons would grow to be stronger than he could ever be and overthrow him. So, he swallowed each one after each birth. Zeus got raised by a goat for many years, and when he was a grown man he decided to save his brothers. Once they were regurgitated, the three of them fought their titan father and won.
Our solar system comprises of many astronomical objects. The most commonly known objects that can be found in our solar system is the sun and the eight planets that orbit around it. Earth, the planetary object that we currently inhabit, is one of the eight planets in our solar system which can also be classified as an inner or terrestrial planet. The other terrestrial planets include Mercury, Venus, and Mars, while Jupitar, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are classified as the outer or Jovian planets. The formation of the eight planets is a common question asked by many people.
Gaea, Mother Earth and Uranus, father sky who sleeps with Gaea at night, had their first set of children, the three Cyclops, humanoids with only one eye and the three Hekatoncheries or humanoids with many heads and one-hundred arms. Then because of fear Uranus banished them to Tartarus. Gaea found out and was upset but did nothing and they had more children, the Twelve Titans. These first, immortal Gods or Titans are: Oceanus, Coeus, Crius,
The discovery of Uranus was accidental. William Herschel discovered the “star” on Feb 28, 1781, while searching the heavens for double stars to use as a measure for stellar parallax – the effect whereby an object’s position or direction seems to change when it is viewed from different positions. He had moved to another area for a few days, and then returned to view this star again only to find it moved. Questioning what type of star could move he followed it from March 13th through March 18th. At this point, Herschel thought it was a comet based on the general characteristics of comets published to that point.
The Titans names were Oceanus, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion, Lapetus, Cronus, Thea, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, Tethys, Cronus being the youngest and most important. Atlas, Leto,Perses, and Asterie were mentioned as Titans as well in some Greek myths. One myth the Titans were involved in was the story of how the Gods were born. Cronus and his sister Rhea married and had many children, those children would grow up to become the Gods. Fearing that he would be over thrown Cronus decided to eat his children as they were born.
Everyone knows who Zeus is. But are you aware of all his daughters and sons? Well, there’s Apollo, there’s Ares and Hermes, Athena, there’s Aphrodite and Hercules. Wait, what about Aphrodite? Aphrodite was the goddess of love, desire, beauty.
Pluto is a dwarf planet that is located in the Kuiper belt. It was the first object to be found in the Kuiper belt. If you were to look into the night sky and find the constellation of Sagittarius, Pluto is located in about the center of it. Originally considered a planet when it was found by Clyde Tombaugh and named by Venetia Burney. Pluto is named after the Roman god of the Underworld.
As a planet, Uranus has 14.5 times the mass of earth. It radiates 1.06 times the energy that it receives from the sun, which is less than the energy radiation of the other Jovian planets. However, only the astral plane of the Uranus sphere is of major interest to the adept. There are 48 primal genii whose powers are quite limitless and abstract in nature. Upon the completion of creation, Metatron placed the entire set of quabbalistic keys into the hands of these genii.
