America’s gifts to my generation mean a lot to me. One gift America has given my generation includes freedom. Freedom is a gift that America has given my generation because freedom gives us Americans the right to speak, act, and think as someone wants without restraint. Some freedom acts include Freedom of Speech. In this act you have the right to express your ideas and opinions.
Being an American means a few things. Freedom, protecting the weak, loving your country, and being active in political affairs. The most important and also the most defining is freedom. Americans are free in both mind and body; able to think freely and, for the most part, act accordingly. Being an American means that almost anyone can run for government positions.

America is not an Anthem society because we value individualism, not collectivism. We are free to express ourselves, no matter what we think. We are free to learn what we want. We are free to live for ourselves and be who we want.

What makes Americans, Americans first The physical location makes you an American, if you are on United States soil then you are considered an American. If you live in the United States than you have all the rights that United States born people have. Next an American is someone who is free. Who has the right to believe what/ who they want to believe. They can also say what they want to say without the fear of prosecution.
It is having ideas and not being afraid to do something about it. It is accepting people no matter their background. It is willing to change and willing to take a chance. That is what Americanism is and anyone who follows these ideas and ways is an American, no matter where they are. Being an American is living life how you see fit.
