I’m sure most of you know that teaching is under the career for education and training. Most of the things I will say for this part of my speech you guys might already know about teachers. A teacher is the person who educates you in a place we all know called school. They’re here to prepare you for the real world. Teachers have to provide an education for you whether you like it or not.
The career I chose to research is a Child Care Center Administrator. A Child Care Center Administrator is known to be in charge of toddler-aged programs or daycares who share the academic or non-academic requirements. He/she has to be able to love children and be able to work with them while also being able to take care of the business side of the Child Care Program. Some duties that the administrator may hold is monitoring a child’s progress of intellectual and emotional development and assist anyone who has a concern with the program or building.

This job really taught me about the importance of children having a routine to follow as well as the impact teachers can have on a child’s life. After my first year in college, I realized that I wanted to gain more experience with children of all ages. Shortly after,
They take the time to know their students and know them well. They appreciate what attributes to each child’s story and take ownership of their role in the child’s life for that school year. I feel that I have the skills and attributes of an outstanding teacher because of the pride I take in the love and support I show my students and families. I know teachers have the power to make a lasting difference and I start every year with that mindset.
It was that moment that made me not only want to become a teacher, but a teacher that goes above and beyond to help her students grow to their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
Education is one of the most important careers in our world today. Without good educators, our society would not be as advanced as it is. Teachers help to create the great minds that improve our world and make it a better place to live. This is why I chose to be a teacher. I want a part in making the world a better place one child at a time.
Throughout my eighteen years in public education I have learned that teaching kids is one of the most rewarding professions in the world. I truly believe that teachers make the most impact on creating a society that is positive and self-sustaining for not only this generation, but for many generations to come. We instill confidence and give students hope that with commitment, sacrifice, and a strong will to succeed that we can accomplish just about anything we put our minds and hearts to. This is why I teach and want to continue to be in the field of education.
There are a few main reasons why I want to teach elementary school. One, teaching has a family-friendly schedule, which is my top priority as a mom of three kids. Two, I have found how valuable my own kids’ education has been and want to make an impact on other kids in my community. As an adult learner I know how important it is to continue to learn, grow in knowledge and be able to pass that on to others.
As long as I can remember, I’ve always known that I wanted to be a teacher. The years went on and I narrowed it down to teaching young kids. I want to be able to help shape young children’s minds and teach them a joy of learning that some teachers can take away. From a very young age, I was always towards the top of my class and loved almost all my subjects. Quite simply I loved learning
What Difference will you have in Education? I believe an educator must not only be equipped with an education and experience but must also be equipped with a passion to shape lives and a desire to share kindness with students from many different walks of life. I have dreamed of shaping young lives from before I can remember. Making a positive impact on adolescents is very important in today’s society to prepare students with the tools to pursue the dreams of their own as well as providing them with the confidence to do so. As an Educator I can shape the lives of my students and prepare them for the next step in their lives and education.
