We are now living in times of global business activity and the knowledge economy. Knowledge-based resources represent the organizational Know-how is the knowledge of employees, organizational production processes, and overall knowledge of one collective. Knowledge management has long been recognized as a factor necessary for the development of business organizations. Only those managers that embrace knowledge as the most important resource can expect to be better positioned than the competition.
Know-how is very important segment of overall knowledge that is deposited within the organization. The value of knowledge is much more important than all other forms of assets that an organization possesses. But knowledge cannot be communicated without the interested employees. So, managers must create the business environment which uses adequate business communication. Good communication stimulates ideas and creativity of employees.
Management must be able to manage business information and achieve active participation in communication with employees with who should exchange the intellectual capital values.

One of the biggest problems of blue-collar work is how bad the job security is. It’s because of this that one might always end their work day, worrying that one day they may no longer have a workplace to come back to. It’s because of this that I feel this was effective at helping the author achieve his goal. I feel that this article doesn’t need additional information.
With reading ATP 6-01.1 it has helped me to understand the meaning of Knowledge Management and Knowledge Management tools that we use every day without realizing that we are. As a society we are spoiled to the amount of digital information that is so readily available to for us to use. The use of computers, tablets, smart phones are tools that we use every day in the military and in the civilian arena.
Mike Rose author of “Blue Collar Brilliance” he reminisces about his childhood and how he was observing his mother at work and how much she multitasked and how he experienced the blue collar work. His purpose was to describe how people integrate physical and mental work is in the field and supports people in the blue collar field. I felt as if I was at a dead end job and earning nothing from it, but Mike Rose’s article influenced me that I was actually learning and gaining skills at my work place. His intended audience would be blue collared workers and white collar workers. Rose informing that blue collar workers are also educated people even though they do not have a degree.

The blue-collar work force has been the building block for many centuries, even without directly realizing it. In “Blue Collar Brilliance” the author Mike Rose discusses how his mother strengthened social and memory skills which allowed her to excel in her job as a waitress. Mike Rose realized everything that although his mother was smart in her own respect, working without a proper education is not all that it is cracked up to be. For example, blue collar jobs may require reading, but it is reading symbols.
A millennial is the title of anyone who is born after 1984. The author, Simon Sinek, is not a millennial, but does express his opinion in his informal lecture, “Millennials in the Workplace.” Sinek argues that all of the millennial’s issues stem from bad parenting, technology, impatience, and the environment and their long lasting effect the workplace. The only way to resolve the problem is to have corporate environments take responsibility and train the new employees to their standards. It is reasonable to agree with a majority of Sinek’s argument, but a corporation does not need to overcompensate; it is best to give millennials a push in the right direction and let them experience the world with the proper tools and skills necessary.
