Human beings have always been interested in the workings of the human mind this led to the creation the social science discipline of Psychology. Psychology is the study of mental processes and behaviors of an individual(quote) therefore Artificial Psychology is then the study of mental processes and behaviors of an Artificial Intelligence. In 1956 the Dartmouth conference was the first conference for AI(quote). The in 1958 he created LISP computer language, which is still used to program computers for AI(quote). Over the years computers have developed to be faster, store more data, become more portable, yet computers can still only do what we program them for and cannot understand or use incomplete or new forms of data. To understand this new abstract data a new program has to be coded by a human to enable the computer to understand the input
