Lewis and Clark were known for an incredible journey that changed US history. The journey increased the size of the US dramatically. From May 14, 1804, to September 23, 1806, a dangerous but yet history changing exploration occurred. Through many dangerous situations and hardships, the expedition of Lewis and Clark turned out a success.
Howling Wolf and John Taylor both created amazing works of art. Most in particular would be The Treaty Signing at Medicine Lodge Creek. Both pieces portrayed similar content but the form and point of view was different. John Taylor was a journalist and Howling Wolf was the son of the Cheyenne Chief Eagle Head. Two men from very different cultures created images based on their knowledge of the event but in a style that represented their background.

The Nez Perce Lewis, Clark and the corps of discovery came across the Nez Perce when they were on the Clearwater river, at the time the crew was famished, or starving and tired, The Nez Perce fed them.
Through the wind you could hear the hoof beats from Dawes, Prescott’s and Revere’s horses! They carried a message that the “British were coming!” The two texts are “Paul Revere's Rides” and “The Other Riders.” The author of “Paul Revere’s Ride” is Henry Longfellow and the author of “The Other Riders” is PBS. Though there were many similarities between the two texts, such as the riders visited similar towns, timeline and was about Paul Revere, there were also many differences.
We are going to be talking about all of their similarities. To began they both were leaders, and has a great amount of power. They also both ruled over countries and had huge impacts on their countries. You can't forget that they both changed the world in their own individual ways. People also still look up to both of them because of what they did to the world.
The main comparison between these two, is the adversity they both fought through when they lost a parent. This made each of them become a wholly different person, and in a good way. Another main comparison between the two would be how poorly they were treated. Jackie Robinson was treated very poorly by the general public and baseball fans because of his skin color. Paul Revere and the american people were treated poorly by the British occupants and that led to the Revolutionary War.
Such as how the main characters faced death countless times. When Louie was being surrounded by 3 enemy planes which filled his plane with 594 holes, and when Pi was dying of hunger. Instead of regretting and despairing, Pi and Louie both persevered to live on. However, there are more differences than similarities. Such as how Louie was in a plane, and Pi was in a lifeboat.
How can two different characters from two different stories have something in common? In this essay I am going to compare and contrast . I am going to comparing and contrasting My Brother Sam Is Dead written by James Lincoln with Colony Of Fear written by Lucy Bledsoe. Being a survivor is a huge accomplishment that doesn 't come easy. There are many hardships that come along with the title survivor. Three important traits to be a survivor are stamina, logic, and bravery. {Olivia} First of all, in the story Trapped the main character, Aron Ralston uses stamina during his hike in Blue John Canyon when a boulder crushes his arm.
Back in the 1800’s there were 2 people who had a lot in common and they were also different in many ways. Their names were Harriet Tubman and Abraham Lincoln. Both Lincoln and Tubman are similar in many ways. They were both depressed at times, told yarns (or funny stories), and they both had nicknames. They were also hated by certain people at one time of their life, they also lead special events, the pair were stressed at times.

There are similarities and differences in the two men’s reasons on why they set these goals for themselves. Both of their journeys affected how travel would be later on in time. After years of waiting and preparing we started on the journey to the west. We made our way to Independence, Missouri to go on the Oregon Trail which was laid by traders and trapers.
