After we play that game, we can feel there is a culture shock. So, what is the definition of culture shock? According to Arthur Gordon, culture shock is loss of emotional balance that someone suffered when he moved from a familiar environment in which it is functioning properly and successfully to the place where he had to start from begining again and learn to function properly in the new enviroment. Why does it happen? As long as we live, our own culture becomes ingrained through habit, learned behavior. It will shape how our culture. This "normal." The stages are : 1. Honeymoon phase, people tend to fascinate with the sight, sound and tastes of the new culture. Usually people try to explore about the new culture that they feel for at least 3 days or a week after they sign on the different culture . Everything is exciting and new. You might think that the new culture is ideal, and you will think, it is better than your own culture. If you are frustrated or having problems, you can quickly recover. Everything is quite positive, the people in the new culture are very nice. 2. Culture shock phase, in this stage, all the little problems and frustrations appear much bigger! You may be very preoccupied with cleanliness , you will think that everything is dirty and unhealthy); you might be worried that other people want to cheat you.
