What are the consequences of unemployment on the social environment (families, the antisocial behaviour of individuals who cannot find employment and how it leads to crimes)

Computerisation is when computers are introduced to a manual function thus converting it into an autonomic or computer system. When computerisation takes place in a business, the conversion results in employees being dismissed because the computers work better and faster. Having both the employees and computers are costly therefore employers tend to reduce the number of employees they have thus increasing unemployment.
With this unemployment comes its consequences such as increase in social isolation , alienation , erosion of self-esteem and confidence ,severe financial hardship and poverty ,homelessness ,family tensions and breakdown ,debt and housing stress. This leads to people to feel like a shame per say and the youth resorts to substance abuse because of boredom. Crime rate increases as the unemployed people try to fulfil their needs through stealing and robbing other people.
