Haze can be defined as the presence of fine particles such as dust, smoke and other dry that can reduce visibility. Haze is mostly occur every year during the months from January to February and June to August .Factors such as prolonged dry weather, a stable atmosphere, and supply of pollutants from urban or rural sources are the ideal source for the formation of haze. Natural factor such as wind and weather also play an important part in transport of pollution such as haze locally and regional. Transboundary haze caused by slash-burn the forest in Indonesia has affected air quality in neighbour country such as Singapore , Malaysia and Thailand for quite some years. Before the 1990s ,there are records of smoke and haze but it is not a major problem but the haze has becomed a major problem in 1997 when the cities of Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Brunei and Jakarta, were affected by smog for some weeks with widespread concerns about impacts on health and economies.The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) agreed to the ASEAN Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution (ASEAN, 2002), which seeking to implement the measures to prevent the forest fires leading to haze. Indonesia, however, is the only member of ASEAN not to confirm this agreement. Haze continues to be a problem, with significant crises arising in 2005 and in 2013, where successively higher records of air pollution were measured in Malaysia and Singapore.
