Diwali, in most places known as the festival of lights, is one of the most famous and biggest Hindu festivals. Hindus and Indians are the people that mainly celebrate it, but there are also many other people from different religions that celebrate it all across the world. In many parts of India, Diwali is also called Dipavali, which in Sanskrit means ‘row of lights’. Whenever you think of this festival, you think of people decorating their houses with lights, lamps, and lighting firecrackers.
