Deforestation is the transformation of forested area to non- forest land use with the removal of trees without sufficient reforestation (Gervent B., 2007). The effect of deforestation can occur in three conditions in term loss of species, soil erosion, and flood. First of all, the effect of deforestation is the loss of animal and plant species. Logging, road infrastructure, construction, agriculture and hydroelectric projects are the activities, that resulting from the loss of natural habitat for flora and fauna caused by the forest. For instance, logging activity causes no trees to anchor the soil and subsurface with structure, that leads to soil erosion. As the result of logging, the water will saturate the soil, leading to greater slope and landslides. When landslides happen, vegetation growth problems will occur. A fully grown tree releases 1,000 liters of water vapor per day into the atmosphere by taking up the moisture from the soil and transpire it ( Robbins, 2015). Other than that, soil erosion also can occur by the strong wind, because the soil particles swept away in a sandstorm with the absence of trees from logging. This situation also can create a greater slope of soil, thus risking the people and fisheries safety. The low rates for fish eggs hatched is the effect of increasing sediment load of rivers (Butler R., 2012). Hence, soil erosion may occur in two conditions due to deforestation, which is logged and the
