Grammatical Errors In English Language

Currently, English language is one of the most used languages on the world. Mastering its grammar is the key for successful communication between people. On the learning process, English language learners often make grammatical errors. That goes back to the fact that there are still in their learning process. In Arabic countries, many things interfere with second language learners' while learning the target language. On this essay, I am going to give some examples of the common errors I identified from one of my classmates’ academic writings. I am going to explain the reasons behind the errors’ repetition and to give some suggestions for future improvement. English language learners make errors unconsciously as their first language interferes strongly on their learning process. One of the errors accrued on my classmate's' writing is the lack of using the articles. Articles are (a, an, and the). They have to be written before the noun. It is required to use ‘a’ or ‘an’ in front of singular noun which is indefinite. When the noun is specific ‘the’ is used in front of it. We can use ‘the’ for plurals as well.. Most of the errors are results from the lack of knowledge about it. "Errors in second language learning, it is sometimes said, could be avoided if we were to make a comparison of the learner's mother tongue and the target language" (Richards,1971). The instructors have to give extra materials about subject and verbs and how do they form sentences. Students have to read their sentence after writing it and then to identify each subject and its verb and to put a full stop when the sentence ends. Reading is going to be a good solution here as
